247 interview with Ross
quote:

Here's what Justyn Ross had to say, some interesting stuff....

Who came at you hardest at the end?
“Alabama.”

What went into the decision?
“Just being able to develop more as a receiver. All the receivers they have developed and put in the league, I want to be the next one.”

Promise playing time?
“You can’t make a promise like that. It all depends on him, what I do when I go in there.”

What more did Alabama do in recent days?
“They were showing a lot of love. Calling me and stuff like that. I have a great relationship with them too, but it’s all about my future.”

When did you firmly make decision?
“Last night.

Why not Auburn?
“It’s nothing wrong with them, I just felt like Clemson was better at developing receivers.”

Impact of Trevor Lawrence being there?
“It means a lot. I’ve thrown with Trevor a lot at The Opening and combines. He’s a great quarterback and as a receiver you are going to need a great quarterback. That played a big part.”

That doesn't sound like a guy that was trending AU this morning

Saw a tweet where he committed to fau over Auburn and laughed. 247 says Auburn offered.

Well if a kid doesn't take an OV then he's not really on the table as an option. But Lane is gonna get hype anyway he can. Don't blame him

Ya honestly he made the right decision. Clemson is gonna get him the ball & he's gonna get drafted in the 1st round. Can't blame him on choosing them

I dont blame Ross one bit. As a WR, Clemson is head and shoulders the best school of the 3 to go to.

Sucks to have to live in the reality that we just aren’t as good as others. Especially with the money auburn throws around.

There’s no doubt. Their WR production is beyond ours and even Bama’s.

I agree with the whole who else could we have hired argument this year because I feel there aren’t many better than who we have without it being a feast or famine scenario but man constantly getting our hopes up mid season is getting old.

We need to quit focusing on the top talent and work the Tuberville method of finding the diamonds in the rough. Time to realize who we are and quit pretending to be a power.

Not true, Bama and UGA can't sign all the talent around our state. We just have need to up our recruiting game whether that be with new personal or new facilities and stop letting Clemson, TAMU, etc take talent out of our state and UGA

No, but Bama, UGA, and Clemson obviously can.

Gus obviously thought the new signing day was the only signing day.

we don't get to the NC in 2010 or 2013 or even the SECCG this past year with the talent Tuberville recruited

Ya, there was the Cam factor, but let's not pretend like Tuberville recruits weren't nearly every other position on that team
