Indeed.

At our age, 2 oxies plus a couple of Don Julios is what we like to call "a nice mellow".

Wouldn't troll too hard. Could be an adverse reaction to oxy, a medication that he was probably prescribed after having shoulder surgery.
Lot of things aren't adding up though.

KN reporting that 4* LB Teradja Mitchell will stop by Sunday on way home from Bama junior day. He's considered a major FSU lean. Let's see if T-WILL can work some magic

I absolutely never take pain pills. I mean never. I have not even taken a ibuprofen in probably 5 years. I have been fighting with a kidney stone now for about two weeks. I have been taking Hydrocodone like M&M's for a week

I've been through 2 back surgeries and you've gone and made me feel bad for you.

I go a day or two with zero issues. Then I guess it moves or someone and I end up in the bed all night curled up in the fetal position. I have zero tolerance to pain meds. When I take one, it works. Usually knocks me out like a UGA defensive lineman.

I had a few of these before and I usually pass them in a day or so. Saturday will be two weeks. If its not gone by Monday, I guess I will suck it up and go to the doc...I am drinking gallons of water everyday but it just wont come through the works.

Pain meds are no joke, met quite a few people whose life has effectively ended after being introduced. Really sad

Auburn pursues in-state offensive lineman Tank Jenkins, who loves Herb Hand (SECCountry)
quote:

An in-state offensive lineman to build around

Auburn has a tendency to build its recruiting class around big, physical offensive linemen. Last year, it was Calvin Ashley. Tank Jenkins is a name to watch in the 2018 recruiting cycle.

The 6-foot-4, 326-pound offensive guard has starred for Park Crossing in Montgomery, Ala., since his freshman year in high school, which is about as long as Auburn has been recruiting him. Jenkins made his most recent trip to Auburn for junior day, and he’ll be back throughout the spring and summer as he zeroes in on a decision.

When asked, he can’t even tally how many visits he’s made to the Plains.

“It’s really a lot,” Jenkins said. “I’ve been coming up here since my ninth-grade year. … It’s just Auburn. It’s just a good school to go to.”

Jenkins holds offers from 22 schools, almost exclusively from Power 5 programs, including Auburn, Florida, Clemson, Michigan, LSU, Louisville, Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma and most recently Miami. The 4-star offensive lineman — who ranks No. 5 overall in Alabama — doesn’t have a timeline or a top list of schools.

But he’s starting to get a better feeling for what schools will become his leaders.

“It’ll just pop. I don’t know when, but it’ll be soon,” Jenkins said.

Auburn already has a quarterback and running back commitment. The Tigers have plenty of options at wide receiver. Now, it’ll be time to set a base on the offensive line. This will be offensive line coach Herb Hand’s first start-to-finish recruiting cycle since joining Gus Malzahn’s staff.

Jenkins has already created a close bond with Hand, which — along with the proximity to home factor — should be a major selling point for Auburn.

“He’s a good guy. He’s cool. He’s a real cool offensive line coach,” Jenkins said. “He told me to keep grinding and don’t let everything get to your head. They tell me I’d come to fit in well.”

Wouldn't be shocked if he visited next weekend and committed but we will see

Alabama, Auburn taking look at Hueytown tight end Kameron Wilson (AL.com)
quote:

Kameron Wilson didn't play football as a sophomore at Hueytown, but now the sport appears to be his future.

He had grown to 6-foot-7 after basketball season that year when football coach Scott Mansell convinced Wilson to get back on the gridiron.

"I kept telling him not to put all your eggs in one basket," Mansell said. "Let's be an athlete and play both sports. He fell in love with the physicality part."

College coaches, including Auburn defensive line coach Rodney Garner, noticed Wilson last spring, but Mansell didn't know what to tell them.

But after the 2016 season, Wilson's junior year on the gridiron, and when highlights started to roll in, so did more interest and offers. UAB and Southern Miss have offered Wilson, who measured in at 6-foot-7 (with shoes) and 232 pounds recently, according to Mansell.

Alabama assistant coach Brent Key also noticed Wilson earlier this year.

"He said he's definitely what we look for at Alabama," Mansell said. "He looks the part."

So, Alabama coaches will get a better look when Wilson goes to Tuscaloosa this weekend for a Junior Day. He'll visit Auburn on March 4 and Mansell said Georgia assistant coach Kevin Sherrer wants Wilson to attend a spring practice.

"I think it's fixing to all hit in a hurry for him (with interest and offers) going into spring," Mansell said. "I had a lot of coaches ask me about him in the spring (of 2016) and I said, 'I don't know yet, I just got him off the basketball court.' He had a heck of a year and was a very physical, dominant blocker."

Spring before senior season is when some prospects come out from under the radar. Wilson doesn't yet have recruiting profiles on sites such as 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN.

"We need to throw the ball to him a little bit more," Mansell said. "He had about 12 to 15 catches last year. We're just a big run-oriented offense. Blocking is not going to be an issue. He was a dominant blocker. His pass-catching ability is what people need to see.

"He's really coming around and starting to become a leader for us. He sees what's coming."

In-state lineman Kameron Stutts a 'high priority' for Auburn (AL.com)
quote:

At 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, it's hard to miss Kameron Stutts on the football field.

The offensive lineman at Brooks High School in Killen, Ala., towers over opponents and is beginning to gain traction on the recruiting trail as a result.

"I think it'll just keep picking up," Brooks head coach Brad Black told AL.com. "He's a big, long kid... I get 10 calls a day about him, always somebody new. It's amazing."

"Athletically, I don't think I've ever seen a kid that big that can move like that, I'll be honest with you. Great kid, great grades, great home life. He's a special kid."

Auburn was one of the first schools to take notice of Stutts, and the Tigers extended him a scholarship offer Jan. 26. In addition to Auburn, the three-star prospect holds offers from Dartmouth, Duke, Iowa State, Jacksonville State, Memphis, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Troy, UT-Martin and Virginia Tech.

"Right now pretty much everyone is an option," he said. "I'm enjoying every single school and everybody talking to me. I haven't really started narrowing things down yet."

While Stutts may not have any early leaders, he admitted the bigger schools are intriguing. He is developing a relationship with Auburn offensive line coach Herb Hand and has visited the Plains multiple times. He attended one Auburn game last fall.

"Their offensive line coach has been really nice to me and talking to me a lot," Stutts said of Hand. "It's a good football program, everybody knows that. It's a good school in general. It has a nice campus and (offers) a good education."

Hand recently visited Brooks to meet with Stutts and expressed his interest.

"Coach Hand came up and sat down with Kam and told me 'Coach, he's one of our high-priority guys. We really like him and want to get him on campus and build a relationship with him.'"

KN has story on a new LB target in 3* LB Ernest Jones. Sounds like T-WILL wants him as an OLB. He talked to Herb Hand (area recruiter) and Williams when he got his offer. Right now his top 3 is AU, UK & GT. Plans to visit March 25th

It seems like we are offering a bunch of guys before everyone else jumps in. Nathaniel Watson, Channing Tindall, Andres Fox, Michael Harris, John Campbell and others. All these guys have blown up recently with offers from other schools as well. Hopefully being the first on a few of these guys pays off

According to Ahmed Ghafir (the MD mod who kept predicting Ashley to flip) AU's recent offer to 4* CB Jordan Miner is a "game changer". He got the offer directly from Greg Brown. He plans to visit AU soon

Give me a DB class of Jalyn Armour-Davis, Jordan Miner, Myles Sims and Quindarious Monday and I will stop making fun of the way Greg Brown looks
