He got excited about what Kiffen did with Sims, but Kiffen won't be around in 2016-2017.

Bartow reported that Pass had a top two of Bama and UNC

I mentioned a long time ago that I was hardly convinced of Pass' mental aptitude, and I'd bet that is why we were "late" to offer him. His recruitment is bouncing all over the place. Those kids from Carver don't paint a pretty picture of success. So many kids with off-field issues.

Had them tied 50/50, and I would say UNC right now. I think the 3 quick Bama picks are because I don't think most people see UNC winning a recruit between them and Bama. If Pass indeed has the issues meta believes I don see Bama giving him a committable offer.

Not really, AU UNC Louisville Notre Dame have been contenders for a while. He's high on Bama right now because he's coming off a viist there.

Just a feeling. When ~75% of your long list of top recruits are washouts and/or dismissals, there is something going on in that community/school/whatever. Georgia barely recruits Carver, and you're talking about a program that has pumped out a LOT of talent. That isn't by accident or coincidence.

His recruitment to date hasn't given me anything to feel any less worried about him. He's had like 6-7 different schools "in the lead" now. Not something I want to see out of a QB recruit.

I think he'd be successful in our offense as its pretty easy to plug a player of his skill-set into it, but I'd be wary of him keeping out of trouble. Don't get me wrong I'd take him right now most likely, but between him and a similarly talented player? I'd go with the alternative.

I would drop any recruit who uses emoji's to convey a thought or represent a team... i'd also drop any recruit who used the phrase "blessed" (or any variation) when describing themselves...

You're smarter than that. you don't think he will push the numbers Sims put up as a converted RB? Kiffen will say, Just think what you can do in my offense as a dedicated QB.
