I think you're onto something when you turn the M upside down. It is plain as day then. Good find

Article on 5* DE Byron Cowart
quote:

As for Florida's former head coach, he's now at Auburn. Cowart said the Tigers have emerged as a serious candidate after hiring Will Muschamp as their defensive coordinator.

"That was big," he said, "because I visited Auburn my junior year for the Iron Bowl last year, and it was great. I could see myself playing there and they have my major, with the SEC Network, and wanting to do Journalism, so that was big. Even better, now they have Will Muschamp, so they'll be in the mix."

Seems like we really have a shot with this guy.

Brave for it...we have % for recruits signing/announcing tomorrow.

247:
5* WR Christian Kirk 35%
4* CB Tony Bridges 40%
4* DE Marquavius Lewis 30%
3* DT Maurice Swain 51%
4* ATH Jason Smith 99%
5* RB Jovon Robinson 100% (just a formality)

People have irrationally been melting about it for 4 + plus months. No point in asking or stopping now.

Someone on The Bunker, earlier, was hyping Auburn up as eventually signing some big name prospect tomorrow...one that is completely unexpected...or unexpected to some degree.

How true is this? I have no clue.

FYI, Mississippi State insiders expect Maurice Swain to sign with them tomorrow.

Auburn may regret slow-playing him all these months.

Not good. A couple of days ago they weren't confident. That makes me feel like they heard something reliable.

It's not irrational. And I'm not one to melt.

Me either. My mistake, it was someone on the Bodda Getta.

Your point remains, though, who it could be is a complete mystery.

I hope Will Muschamp has something up his sleeve.

Irrationally? We have one decent DL commit and the only other guy we would have a good shot at signing right now is Swain who 1. may very well sign with MSU and 2. doesn't even really look that good.

At this point, we're gonna have to cheat our asses off to sign a good DL class. It's been a swing-and-a-miss cycle for Garner so far

At this point, we really need to finish with Byron Cowart and Daron Payne...and I think we all know how unlikely that is. Next year will he crucial for Auburn as we could possibly lose Carl Lawson and Montravius Adams.

It's gonna take a shite load of money to sign a good DL class at this point. It's been a swing-and-a-miss cycle for Garner so far
As Rocky has said a million times, the best approach is to wait til the faxes come in February before reacting. Any negative reaction before that is irrational. Let the faxes come in then make your assessments. As for the DTs for this class I'm personally not worried even if we sign three 3*s because I think the DTs already on roster will play much better under a more aggressive scheme we will have under Boom than most anticipate. Plus I would not be surprised at all if Boom pulls a 4* DT rabbit out of his hat. Even if he doesn't we lead for 3 or 4 very good 2016 DTs so OI'm still not worried. But as I said before some have been melting for months so go ahead and keep melting. It's actually entertaining.

I don't think BC is unlikely at all.

My list included Auburn landing BOTH. Very unlikely, IMO.

I too think some of the guys we have will play better. But signing three average guys is not the best way to compete in the trenches against the guys our rivals are getting.

Good thing Boom came to save Garner's arse.

And what about in 2016, when Lambert, Lawson, and Monty leave? We're gonna rely on freshmen to play significant minutes?
