Austin Wiley, a class of 2017 PF from Spain Park (AL), will go on an unofficial visit to Auburn next weekend.

Do any of the '17 guys commit this early?

No lie, reading that gave me a chub.

Another great things is Heron might need 2+ years to be ready for being a lottery pick. Works even more in AU favor.+Get ready for 17s class

God I hope so. I was actually coming in here to ask if he was a one and done level guy. Him and Wiley on the same team will be HUGE. As long as everybody stays we'll have a great group of upperclassmen too.
You get a 7 foot SR at Center in Reed (who will hopefully be developed by then)
Spencer, Purifoy, Williams, and Brown as Juniors.

2017-18 team could be GOAT level. That kind of talent on one team at Auburn was unfathomable just 18 months ago. It's like some sort of wet dream.

Most of the very top guys like Wiley don't make anything official until the end of the cycle. Scrolling through the '17 list only 4 of the top 100 has committed so far. The highest rated guy is #33 and the other three are all ranked between 70-100.

Even in the '16 class only 4 of the top 20 have committed, so to get Heron this early and say he wants to sign in November is huge.

There's no reason to worry about Wiley now though. Both of of his parents played basketball at Auburn, and so will Austin. He seems like he wants to actually experience the recruiting process though, he released a top 13 a few weeks ago

So we can point and laugh at the people who said him and Spencer weren't going to qualify.

I think Bruce Pearl is the best coach in our athletics department. I hate saying it, but Gus is second.

Hold up Recruiter? No doubt. But let's give the man an opportunity to finish above .500 before we hand out that award

He finished above .500 in the SEC tourney despite playing a 6'3 backup PG at the 4 and Kenneth at PG

I'm excited but Jones is right, we haven't even made it to the postseason so let's pump dem brakes yo

PER PM... Auburn basketball center Trayvon Reed's future with the program is expected to be decided within the next week. As of today, he remains with the team. That's all the confirmed information we have.

Did he instigate the alleged fight?

I hope the right decision is made.

For whatever reason, Reed seems like the type of person who believes in order to prove yourself, you have to get yourself into trouble, be arrested, do time, have multiple friends who have died from violence, etc. Basically he's either a thug or a gangster. He needs to get his head on straight, and I think his time at Auburn can make that happen, but he needs to stay straight.

Reed is a TPOS and has been everywhere he's "tried" to play ball. I wouldn't waste anymore time on that project when we're recruiting so well and getting stud transfers.

Trayvon is gone. Waddell was awarded a scholarship.
