Ryan B says they are very similar players.

Both PFs more comfy facing basket that back to it.
Both have 3 point range & hood passers
Can guard multiple positions due to lateral ability movement

If we take a GT or juco it would be to impact now. If it's a high schooler it's to impact down the line.

He's very lanky. I'm trying to figure out why he's unranked because he has serious game. Unlike most his size he's actually aggressive and wants the ball on offense.

He's got some wide shoulders to be so lanky.

Check out Yuat Alok in these highlights. He's guarding someone out around the 3 point line and is down in a defensive stance like a 5'10 guard. He has crazy good knee bend for a 7 footer. Also uses his body very well to create space on the low post despite being 200lbs.

I've seen this posted a few times and I'm curious as to where this coming from?

A lot of chatter from Bama people that he is going to be a Bama commit sooner rather than later. I trust you more though

Maybe everyone says Reese but referring to someone else. They would say he was going to "flip" but he isn't committed. Most people are new to BBall recruiting so w/e

He's crystal balled to Vandy right now, with them and Bama recruiting him hardest.

For us it's wait and see. Reese, Brooks, and Wiley all in the state next year and all with ties to AU is the kind of problem you'd like to have more often. We probably can't take all 3, but we'll end up with probably 2 quality big men. Just don't want one slipping to Bama...

Never you mind about the other boys, we have the making of a rumpus right here!

I would take Yuat based on that hudl film. Easy to teach a tall kid to stand up straight and reach vertical to be solid defender in CFB. Hard to find 6'11 guys who can move and have solid teach and hands around the rim

We are barely recruiting Brooks. In fact, he didn't list AU at all the other day in an interview.

Here's a free read & highlights of 1 of AU's high school 2016 targets, 3* PF Nick Rakocevic. He's averaging 22 points & 18 Rebs a game this season.

I 100% don't think he can dunk

Good looking stroke for a 6'11 guy though and seems to have soft hands.

Reminds me of a less athletic Jackie Purchase.

I refuse to believe someone 6'10+ who plays basketball can't dunk. His very would have to be less than 15 inches.

He pretty much ouldnt walk up a staircase if that was the case

Regardless, you don't need to jump to be 6'11, stand in position and stick your hands straight up in the air on defense. It is college not NBA, guys can't effectively beat a 9ft vertical obstacle

If you have a soft touch on layups/nice hook in the post, you don't need to jump on offense either

Are we in on John Petty? Saw him play the other night and Pettway and Avery Johnson were in attendance.

Pearl has developed a good relationship with Jack Doss but Petty is likely headed to a legit basketball school.

I figured. Kid looks like he is going to be a more polished and better shooting version of Dunans.

No. He appears to be All Kentucky.
