WDE Lorenzo Carter is ours to lose, no?

Don't let this get out, but we do have some foreign grantor trusts set up in tax havens for our big fish. Since it is a grantor trust we keep control of it. We keep them offshore so they stay hidden. Then when the player fullfils his end of the deal, we convert the trust to a non-grantor irrevocable trust and the player collects and takes over control of the dollar bills.
Keep it quiet though.
If I paid Cam Newton $180,000, it'd be in the form of a trust where he couldn't touch the money for ten years.

He has been quoted as saying he was very excited that Auburn offered and apparently people in his family are Auburn fans. He really likes Garner and I'm sure we are all over him.

We haven't offered Carter according to Rivals.

Does Auburn have a shot at Leonard Fournette?? Best film I've ever seen at RB.

And I like Roc Thomas' highlights more. Sucks they may both go to Bama...

I doubt both would go. They'd be stupid if they did especially after Bama just signed 4 great backs in this class.
I think Auburn has a better shot at Rock than ppl think. We kept him from commiting to Bama with his last visit.

I'm fine with this for these two. I like Elder but we got Ford and I don't see the need in taking another Jr defensive tackle unless he would redshirt for some reason this year. We have a lot of upper classmen at that spot now and I know that none have performed yet, but bringing in another upper classman won't fix our problems. Save the spots for next year when we know what we have and what we need.
As for the '14 class, looking at a lot of the prospects on the first post, a good bit of them are committed elsewhere right now. What are our projected needs right now?
My guess is this:
1 quarterback
2 or 3 running backs. At least one speed and one power.
3 receivers
4 offensive linemen. 1 center, 2 guards and a tackle
2 defensive ends
2 defensive tackles
2 linebackers
1 or 2 corners
1 or 2 safeties depending on the development of Alexander and Harding.
Jimmy Hutchinson
That would give us 19-22 which would be about what we will have room for. We lose 14 seniors and are sitting 1 under the cap now, that gives us 3 to 6 leaving the team.

Derrick Griffin in AU now for an OV.
Btw- this guy has grade issues.

I will change my receivers needs for next year to 2 whether we take Griffin or not. Just realized that if Jason Smith moves outside like expected, he will make 5 for this year including Marcus Davis at slot. We have 3 juniors and 2 sophomores going into the fall this year though so we need to keep the numbers up a bit.

You should change your projections to
4-5 OL 2 OT 2-3 OG
3-4 DT
3 LB
This big O tackle class we got will be in their 3rd year when this class is on campus. We need to get underclassmen in
We are on short supply of underclassmen DTs. Monty and Nero were the only two we brough in in the past two years. Unless we continue to raid JUCO we need to figure that out
LBs- I could understand 2 but it depends on if they are recruiting undersized LBs for star or not
OT ETA: Shaun Dion Hamilton, wherever he goes I hope that the boosters of that school can help him with his underbite. Seems like a great kid but that would help him so much more considering he may be valedictorian of Carver HS according to JHoke
