Fat douchebag with no punch at the plate a general liability in the field and slow and lazy on the bases actually becomes a 4+ WAR player the next year.

Wilson Betemit was one of the first guys I really remember hearing about as the next great thing. I didn't really pay too much attention to prospects before Furcal and Betemit were hot commodoties.

For some reason he came up in 2001 at age 19 and then didn't make it back until 2004. I still can't figure out the trade that we made to get Baez and Aybar (the first sucky one, not the latest one).

It could have been. The main thing he always said was the "Meeeeeeet" part, which was hilarious as he did it Betemits entire career. He clearly just figured he'd stick with it after a few years.

Hahahaha yes

I love John Miller. He's a great baseball announcer. Joe Morgan, obviously, not so much.

It's amazing that athletes find themselves in situations where they feel they need to rape someone. They literally have hundreds of women that would do anything they asked, yet they risk imprisonment to rape.

I'm obviously not saying rape is ok with us normies, but I just don't get it with the athletes.
