Are you sure you aren't trying to make a case for hiring Gus?
I am positive, There was a guy in LR making money off of these kids doing the recruiting thing. He and Gus were thick as thieves, he was slime..
Dyer was a dope fiend and a convict, guns, knives, drugs, theft.... Didn't matter to Gus.
Gus uses the "Lord" to gain interest and acts us unlikely to know him as anyone at times.
From auburn to asu (boise of the south) lol... to Auburn again.
The way he used those boys in Springdale was pathetic. I do not want gus around this program at all. Now, I believe we can win and win big with ethics. Others don't care and will win at any cost. Hire Freeze... Or someone like gus if you like. Not me!

That sounds like a stretch. There isn't really any evidence that Gus was intentionally causing drama.
That said, I appreciate the attempt at an explanation
"sounds like a stretch"?
Hogville was exploding with message board friends of Gus echoing to the world that Gus was "being mistreated"
before spring practice of 2006

Sorry but when your evidence inovles the words "message boards" it's hard for me to find that convincing.
