IDK why I keep taking the bait with you... but here it goes.

Reasons for a glass half full:
1. That defense was hired by Pittman, and it is so much better.
2. Recruiting has ticked up a bit since he arrived, especially on defense, TE, WR, etal.
3. #11 in portal haul... Not bad, not bad at all.
4. Thus far, the recruits aren't jumping ship.
5. have remained competitive in all games against superior comp. Bama, LSU, OM... Tight, fun games to see. Don't like the outcome... Reason the glass is half/ not full. lol
6. HY is still the AD and all programs at Arkansas have been incredible since his arrival/hires other than Football. I have a bit of faith that he will do well here as well.
7. Fan's aren't totally apathetic as of yet. Still holding on.
8. And this may be the most important. Life is just a bit easier, more enjoyable, and I am not as big of a prick when I look for the positives in life... You?

Hypothetically, what if they win out and the offense looks good? Then what? This is for everyone, not just good ol Rev.

Keep taking the bait? We've hardly talked at all.

However, I don't disagree with your points. I'm optimistic about our team IF we can get a good OC. I'm solely talking about the Enos hire.

Feel free to check my posts. I haven't spent much time talking about it at all so the whole miserable "prick" label isn't exactly applicable. But there are posters that are more than willing to label anyone who has disagreed as being a "prick".

Although it was at you, it wasn't necessarily for you. lol.

Not saying you are a miserable prick, but that when I get down.. .I am hell to live with. Hence the words I used.

I think we have had a couple other negative posts in the past, then again... I'm old and senile... So, just consider that If I were different... I would be an old, senile, miserable prick!

Not a good look!

He stated in the presser they would practice one thing and run another in games (paraphrasing)

If this is true and the offense and team looks better and wins out, I guess Sam would have between Black Friday and the bowl game to convince the fan base via an OC hire.

With the above he would need players to announce coming back via covid years, etc.

Arkansas owes Enos 2 mil over the next two years, so I'm sure this and the rest of the staffs buyout figures would play a huge factor in decision making.

In case anyone missed it today, Sam in his teleconf call was asked about sign stealing and he said 'I don't believe in it.'

Yet again... Arkansas taking the moral high road when it does nothing but place a progran already full of disadvantages at yet a another disadvantage.

There's a reason why Bobby was so successful. He actually coached like the rest of the killers in the SEC and didn't give a shite what anyone at 'Lil Ole Arkansas' thought about it...

Whatever Hunter does, he better go get an absolute savage as his next HC who won't take the 'high road' pussy BS the university will try to give them.

Hard not to like Sam but I'm way over moral victories and close losses. Time for him to do the right thing and step back and let us get someone who is young and hungry to prove himself.....

To be honest, I don’t think Sam will be let go.

He is 21-23 if he finds a way to break even or higher, he gets $16-17M, if it’s below it’s only $10-11M. The down side of keeping him, is if he pulls out 7 wins next year, he gets an extension and we are in the Houston Nutt spiral.

But if he is kept, we aren’t getting Bobby, so I would get Dan Mullens. Let him learn to recruit, if he doesn’t show he can or wants to, then let him go when Pittman is gone. If he shows he wants to and will, then hire him as the head coach, when you let Sam gone.

Why the hell do people want Mullen? The guy hates to recruit. Period.

That’s why I say bring him in as an OC. If he goes fully Odom and doesn’t recruit, when Pittman is gone you let them both go.

Mullen also has a dark side from what I've always heard in coaching circles.....

I mean he is from the Urban Meyer coaching tree.... scum tends to gravitate to scum.

Gus wasn’t named coach in waiting by anyone other than dumb frick Springdale fans.

Sam doesn’t call plays and never has, if you remember Nutt called plays and didn’t want to give that up, and that was part of keeping him after two shite years.

Bobby Petrino is barred from working for the U of A. When will you people realize this?

You have an article, a note, or wind talking that says that? Or is it just your thoughts and conspiracies…
