I am really waiting on Kentucky to get exposed on this as well. The whole Marcus Monk / Malik Monk just smells of this along with the Perry deal.
Could be wrong though. Know the NCAA wouldn't touch KY, or they would have by now. The FBI has no boundaries though.

did i really have to convey the fact that it is in parkviews best interest as well as the kids to go to the state flagship school if offered?
but for every ethan hendersooon there are 3 caleb stokes that won't get that offer.
i'm about as plugged into parkview as one can possibly be, i grew up 2 streets from parkview (Singleton Ct), i know virtually everyone that went to parkview incuding my cousin, i go / went to the same church as the flannigans and as macon's family and have family that played with flannigan.. Flannigan and Mike had a come to jesus meeting once beard transferred out of Parkview and both realized it was in both of their best i nterest to work with and not against each other. Al stopped sterring his players to everywhere but arkansas and arkansas stopped pretending like parkview high players didn't exist. if not for that meeting we never get garford.. we would have signeed henderson regardlless but henderson wouldl have transffered out.
so it's needless to say if an arkansaas offer comes they would jump on it. but for most players on that roster that's never happening. but players like stokes is good enough to play somewhere. and
i'll go ahead and tell u know we will sign javon franklln next year that's as good as done.

hence the come to jesus meeting. it never was gonna come to that. Anderson knew he had to mend old wounds cause his job depends on getting players from arkansas and parkview has virtually half the D1 players in the state

After reading that long post, HS basketball coaches are irrelevant once the travel squads get ahold of them. That's where they get their $$$'s.
Al doesn't have the pull like he had 10 years ago and that's a fact.
He and most coaches rely on us/LR's businessmen for funding and he is told what to do these days, not the way it was back in the old days when he/Coach Rip told us what he needed and what players to sponsor, we now call the shots. Hence the rise of Hall/Mills/NLR. Get in or lose players.

His mom showed her arse on twitter yesterday. He left all his boys hanging he had played with since sixth grade. Our class is fine. Anderson and Arkansas will be fine.

actually i was quite right on macon, about the only one here tha twas. I told u there was what macon wanted to happenb, then there was what actaully was going too fricking happen. his momma would have disowned him if he left the UofA without a degree and not be a first round pick regardless of how tired of school he was.
I'm a Mills grad I like the rise of mills. There isn't a more furtile basketball recruiting ground in the entire state than the southwest LR/Sweet Home / College Station / Wrightsville area where Mills gets its student body. And Mills is a magnent school on top of that and can cherry pick smart kids from around the city. At keast when I was there, millls was a top 50 High school in the US and had hte best AP program in the state hands down that's why i went there.
when I was in HS our startiing point guard was from jacksonville, our starting shooting guard was from south west, small foward was from colllege station, power forward and center were from wrightsvile. We had players from west little rock (me), sherwood and cabot on our team. The infastructure always was there to be really fricking good. I actually just found out Los (carlos merriweather) died. damn that fricking sucks.
I'm sorry to call u out but as someoone who grew up in the LR basketball scene you're full of shite on this one. Coach Bealer at fuller, Coach Rip and Flangigan, are fricking legands and command the respect of players that don't even play for them. In HS if you are a patriot that shite means something. ;Those banners mean something. A kid walking around wiht parkview practice gear on u already know the kid can ball, that shite means somehting.
Mike Jones, former razorback and former patriot is my first cousin, my dad is his mom's younest brother. He's a year older than me. Actually just saw him a few weeks ago when I was back home. Anyway, i saw first hand how the process worked with them. Mike wanted... actually if i'mn being honoest, mike wanted to be a memphis tiger. he was a penny hardaway fanitic and had memphis gave him a commitable offer he would have crawed there hogs be damned. But it never came. He wanted to be a hog but..,. iut's not so much that al and company6 would tell them where to go, as mucvh as they gave them advance on what not to do. and he never had anything positive to say about nolan who was the coach at the time. he was ready to commit to the hogs months beforoe he did but coach toldl him to weigh his options take his visits so he visited ole miss etc. My family are huge sports fans and we all grew up watching the razorbacks basketball team so i mean that was going to fricking happen rather al wanted it or not. even aqfter hie committed coach was telling him to keep lookiing then mike threatened to transfer back to jacksonville, where he lived, if coach didn't drop it qand he finallly did.
no one had pull like rip. Rip flat out fricking told UALR to take D fish and that was literallly the only reason they did. But to say the fllangigans don't have pull is a joke. I mean frick u can technically go through HS, go to juco and graduate from a 4 year collleg eand be coached by a flanigan all 8 years now, but they have no pull

he's not a generational player so i really didn't see the pointt in ikeeping him for a year anyway. it's llke brown that went to cal, and shite he was a top 3 pick. he's not going to change the direction of our program rather we get him or not. kid isn't bagley

The fact is, Rip and Al dont have the juice anymore, like they used to have.. I can call both at anytime of the day or night and they will answer, my call, same as every HS bb coach in Central Arkansas
