Nahhh, I actually mostly agree with the above, but it is a vent thread. So here is mine.
Why cant we play the way bama and aubbie does with recruiting, I know they are paying out the wazza and still not having a thing happen to them by the NCAA!

I'm damn glad we're not Auburn or Alabama. But Gus is a great fit for Auburn and I hope he never coaches anywhere else. They deserve him.
This weekend, I sincerely hope that Gus just so happens to step smack dab in the middle of a big wet pile of Bully's doggie poop. That would be really nice. And I would mail Bully a treat.
I'm thinking we have a good chance of winning this weekend ...so Go Hogs! Beat Alabama!

My fear is that we actually ARE playing the same way Bama & Aubbie do, we just get outbid. But in reality, I think we've been a very clean recruiting school for awhile.

I hope we're clean-ish. I'd be all for the aub/Bama's of the world to get years of NCAA punishments so tough they'd find it hard to field a team. I guess in reality I wish the NCAA wasn't a joke.

I'm just not convinced we wouldn't be hammered hard by the NCAA to "make an example" to the big schools and national media. It gives the appearance of keeping the business clean while not hitting the top 10 schools and sacred cash cows.

And place kicking woes continue. Hard to expect to win with no kicking game.

Bama has a good run D. Their weakness is the secondary. Unfortunately we cant pass.
