Vent Thread Series: GRAND OPENING! Arkansas vs Alabama

So this board has been a little chippy as of late, and that's understandable, losing sucks. People deal with that in different ways and that's fine we should be able to throw a fit if we want to this is 'Murica. We've been dogshit for the last 2 years and now this team is acting like they're going to break out of it, but they still pull dumb shite that loses games. That's frustrating because they instill hope and some optimism then they shite all over it and it brings the "Oh no here we go again" feelings out of us. That's where we are collectively as a fanbase right now.
We make fun of Hogville quite often, and it's justified, but they are doing something that would benefit this board IMO. So here's my suggestion. Let's create an official vent thread for every game we play. Saturday morning an Admin could make the vent thread and leave it open until Friday evening of next week, then anchor that bitch and create the new one for the next team.
While in the vent thread you can bitch, whine, and post all of the hissy fit shite you want. If you click on the vent thread and become angry with the posts then it's your own fault and you should be angry about being a stupid head. We need the vent thread for victories as well because a lot of us are miserable fans and complain during blow out wins. All vent related posts that make their way into the rest of the board should be met with a mushroom stamp to the bridge of the nose.
There is no company line to walk in the vent thread, it's just a battlefield of I'm mad and I'm going to tell somebody about it.
There is no company line in the main board either, but we should keep it to intelligent debate about our differences of opinion regarding schemes, coaches, flavor of ice cream, cotton or lace, Chevy or Ford, and over or under on the toilet paper roll.
We're all homies here, I'm not mad, let's all be friends again.

Don't push me Bill. I already had a guy almost cross the "fear for my life" line this afternoon when he came at me and threatened to kill me because I told him the gym was closed and his kids couldn't come in. Something like this might just be the thing to make me blast a man.

Wow that's crazy I wish you the best with that situation. As far as the vent thread I'm being completely serious. I like to think of it as a war thread where we can slap each other down until we're over the loss and we're all brothers again on the main board.

My vent is Jim chaney calling fancy plays at stupid moments in the game. Its happened in more than one game & Im sure it will cost us a couple more close games.

I'll admit that I don't really like Chaney at all. I think the way he talks is fricking annoying and it's all 100% coach speak. He's like a 4-ton Robert Redford without the acting chops. He seems to be a guy that wants his play calling to be complex and beautiful instead of practical. If you find a hole in the defense just keep hitting it until they close it. He doesn't need to be Bobby Petrino and write the book on in game play calling. I think he shits on his own momentum sometimes because he's not satisfied with only doing what works. He wants to invent what works. Now if the players would execute the plays he calls then a lot of them would have went for big gains or even touchdowns, but that's more him needing to understand his players, their execution level on certain plays, and how different the play he is calling is from the rest of the drive.

Chaney gets way too cute for is own good, and on his "omg this will be a great call" our players get over excited because they aren't used to executing those plays so we have frick ups. With that said another year and the execution level should be on par with his want to make the highlight reel.

I am fricking tired of folks blasting Chaney. What is it about him that draws your ire so often. You have something against successful fat people. That's it aint it. Several of ya are skinny as frick, work out constantly and watch your calories while working at wally world. Now I get it.

I feel bad for kickers because they are either good or hated. Henson has a <40yd but that isn't his fault. I couldn't stand Tejada cause he didn't seem to care and you would see him smiling on.the sideline after he tarded on the field. That sucks about the ALS.
