I haven't watched any games yet but let me guess what our team is like:

We play aggressive defense far from the basket. The opponent seems to break our press and traps far too easily. For every turnover we force the other team gets 5-10 wide open layups or 3s.

On offense we don't seem to know how to attack the defense in a half-court setting. Many times we pass up open shots only to take a contested one with the shot clock winding down. In transition we often take quick low-percentage shots. We often turn the ball over trying to force the ball up the court.

Since we take a lot of bad shots and our opponents are gifted a lot of easy ones there is a huge discrepancy in shot percentage.

How close am I?
