yep. We hired mike about 8 years too late. Our basketball coaching choices have been about as bad as they could've possibly been. Next hire needs to be a young coach who's proven him self by coaching and recruiting smartly at a smaller school. With a competent coach we could be a top 25 team in 2-3 years, college ball is all about coaching

The talent is there this year, but if we don't start EMPHASIZING the fundamentals we won't make the tournament. That's what pisses me off the most about Coach A's teams. These guys shouldn't be this poor at rebounding and taking care of the ball.

This mother fricker can't coach for shite man. I was willing to see what he could do with some JUCO talent since he decided to take a couple years off recruiting...but this is fricking horrible.
Minnesota won 8 games a season ago. EIGHT. They're also beating us with a kid from Little Rock that Anderson didn't bring in.
The signs were there against a shitty FtWayne team and a shitty UT Arlington team.

I vote we disband the Razorback athletic teams. Then each day someone can just kick me in the nuts. It will have the same net effect but be much cheaper for the university and more time efficient for me.

I just don't understand what his half court defensive philosophy is, among other things. But specifically THAT. How many successful college teams trap 30 ft from the basket, leaving the offense to play 4 on 3 for REPEATED easy baskets? It literally happens every game, every season.
I get it. Against the school for the blind, you can force a few turnovers. But we are competing with teams that can make 2 easy passes for wide open layups or 3's.
Meanwhile, our half court offense wouldn't look all that different if you just started 5 guys brand new to the program. Meaningless pick and roll, followed by another, and another, and another, then force a shot wildly, or turn it over.
