Kendrick Edwards starting at WR alongside Drew Morgan and JoJo. Dre Greenlaw officially starting at WLB after playing most of the game in that role against Tech.

Edwards is the crazy one. He went from a scout team to starter in two games. Ouch.

3 games into the season and Dominique Reed has had minimal, if any, impact.

Edwards is a player I've been wanting to see get on the field for a long time. We desperately need his height/speed combo, and I was very impressed by what he was able to do last week. He looked decent in spots as a freshman last year.

Not sure how/why he got in Bert's doghouse last year and hasn't been able to get out, but I'm glad he's out. We need him to get his head on straight, because we can't afford another Korliss Marshall, especially at a position with depth concerns like receiver.

Reed can't even line up correctly. Not sure whether he can learn the plays or not.

Bert going soft and letting Edwards back in the line up.

Will be interesting to see how he disciplines going forward on players that don't follow his plan.

I would imagine Bert wishes he still had Marshall as well.

the deal with Marshall was he had alot of negative influences around him (drug problem) and when you are addicted its hard to stop unless you get away from those people. Bert didn't want korliss to leave. they made a mutual decision for him to transfer to try and salvage his life because he would have kept screwing up otherwise had he not got away from his old friends.

Yea, I know. Visited with his brother a few times who lived with him.

I know bret still wishes he had korliss. I still respect him for trying to salvage the kids life rather than turn the other cheek, let him play, and risk him letting his demons get bigger.

We really need Kody Walker to get back in the lineup. I don't know what we need defensively

I read where we had to use the timeout early in the 3rd because Kendrick didn't know where to line up at and Drew Morgan got in his face about it lol. Makes sense why they wanted to redshirt him I guess

It's not crazy Edwards went from scout team to starter in 3 weeks when you consider 3 WR injuries.......

I didn't say anything earlier but was worried about this. Remember Chris Baker? Great speed but there is a reason people don't qualify out of High School sometimes.

Can't play if you can't learn the plays.

And you can't play in the SEC if you aren't strong enough to keep from getting jammed on the line.

Many on here questioned that early, even in the face of pre-season accolades by the coaches.
