I live in the Holler, I'm gonna stand on my back porch and give the weather the finger.

Looks like I won't have to go far to chase tomorrow. I'll probably just stay home. Chasing in Arkansas sucks, too many trees and hills obscuring your view.

Well the first line rolled through here already and dropped pea to dime sized hail. Really screwed up my day because I was planning on being in the yard working from 7 AM until early afternoon when I thought the storms were about to start.

Now cross your fingers on my vegetable garden and that all the plants survive today...

I love that we're the only subset of Arkansas pop. to embrace the Fort Fresh moniker.

Is the bad stuff later? I am trying to figure out if I can drive to tulsa and back real quick if this first round is just going to be thunderstorms.

Last night there was a "Special weather statement" on the weather channel app that talked about today getting serious around 5 this evening. It's not on there anymore, so they may be backing off a little bit.

Later this evening, 5-midnight.

Fay shouldn't have more than thunderstorms, all the more severe stuff is said to be from the valley to the southeast.

I hope all you guys stay safe! I just moved this week and actually just got to my new house in North Carolina.

3 years ago when I moved to Harrison, from California is when Joplin hit. Luckily we were comming on I40, instead of going to our parents house in Illinois. We always used to stop there in Joplin. A few days later we drove to Kansas City and lucked out again (sedilia storm).

Well enough rant. Stay safe!!!
