Can still finish 8-5 and 5-3 in league play. After starting 1-3 overall, I'd have laughed at anyone who told me our record could end up that way. Especially in league play.

Would've been ranked most likely if we'd have won. Hard to sell this sunshine pumping "what's the difference between 7-4 or 6-5?" to recruits. Sorry, no one wants to be a loser. These little losses here and there hurt more than people are willing to admit. And no, bitching about it doesn't help...but it does make me feel better.

8-5 would be my cutoff for considering this a successful season, because it would indicate progress from year 2 (7 wins) to year 3. I understand the injury bug proving to be a huge liability, but we also had a few players like Allen, Morgan and Reed step up and break out as contributors to somewhat counterbalance that.

Not that 7-6 or even 6-7 would make me leave Bert's corner, but I want to hit 8 wins to keep that program momentum up.

Oh, I agree.

We also need a good bowl matchup too. I want Big Ten...not a Big 12 West Virginia that has the chance to slaughter our defense.

Speaking of sunshine pumping, I'm sitting here waiting on my ride (ladies night out) and talking about the game with my husband. All I hear is "it was still an entertaining game and you guys just don't have the right bodies. Your safeties are shite. What's that linebackers name? (Ellis) He's dog shite. But it was a fun game and you just happen to come out on the wrong end.

Spare me this shite already!!!!

If we get a West Virginia or Baylor type team I will finally see what limit my liver can take.

We will. Guaranteed!!!!! They'll want an exciting, high scoring matchup.

At this point it is WV or TT in the Liberty.

4th Big 12 pick after playoff choices....

Thinking OU gets into the playoff of 6 bowls.

Could also be K State if they win the next 2, which I kind of doubt at this point. They play Kansas and WV...

Now, WV has not played well this season imho. They haven't scored 50 all season against Big 12 D...
