I'm not melting. I thought we'd go 6-6 and that's probably what we will do. We may even go 7-5.

I'll melt though if we can't stop runs off tackle or outside against Florida. Looks like a high school D on the edges.

Yea, the defense has me internally melting.

Before the season had you told me our defense would not be good, I would have said okay that is okay, we weren't that good last year either.

Had you told me we would average giving up almost 225 on the ground halfway through the season I would have called you one crazy bastard.

The defense isn't just bad, it is atrocious. Its abysmal. Its the worst I have ever seen in my lifetime bad. Sad part is, the secondary has improved a lot yet its getting grouped in with a rush defense that is piss poor.

It was decent, but not good. Teams just decided to pass on us constantly because our pass defense was so bad

I've always had an expectation that we would be hit and miss with Defense. We've never been consistent there. One of my biggest complaints is that we rushed for 25 yards. Let that sink in.
The whole game, we were able to cover 1/4 of the field running the ball. What.The.Actual.frick! Have we ever been held to that before? Forget the score for one moment, and just think of that stat.
I guess I have a little melt in me after all

Well we did have to abandon the run pretty early because of the score but yes our run game is bad (because of our oline) and honestlt has been most of the year. We're just so determined to run the yardage usually is still there but the average per rush has been abysmal all year

I'm melting big time......

... I said when we hired him the BB wasn't the right hire. I like the guy a lot and got on the bandwagon.... that crapfest of a performance Saturday has me wanting to jump off. For now I will settle for Smith being the sacrificial lamb if we make a homerun DC hire... otherwise the melt will continue.
