And? So we had to play 8 consecutive weeks. Big whoop. Next year, we have a bye in week 3...then guess what? Is this going to be everyone's built in excuse each year now for bad coaching and bad play?

I wouldn't mind seeing Robb Smith still stranded in Auburn.
Yeah he needs to be fired. So does Kurt Anderson, and our LBs coach. That game is the biggest embarrassment of Bielema's career.

I'm almost to the point of going full blown red arse on JL and Bielema. Bielema really needs to shut his GD mouth and start coaching fricking football. He needs to stop crying at press conferences and he needs to start demanding fricking excellence from himself, the other coaches, and the players.
I've never been angrier at Bielema than when he tried to reference our 2014 arse whipping of Texas Tech after Kingbury went in dry last year in Fayetteville and made the "he just got his arse kicked" comment. Bert had just gotten thrashed by a weaker team and tried to excuse it away by embarrassingly bringing up a prior year's results.
That's when I realized Bert would never change and would always be a shite talking moron, absurdity of circumstance be damned.

Yep. I understand that we're not recruiting with the best of them. But we're recruiting well enough to not lose 53-6...

Bielema talks about stability, and wanting to stay with a program for 15-20 years. I hope Jeff Long has talked to him, and told him what that will take. I'm about sick of this "participation" ribbon mentality. Jeff Long needs to have defined goals, and metrics to measure those goals, and if Bielema is failing, he needs to be shown the door.

it wasn't an excuse, it was an interesting fact

I'll melt if we lose to Florida after a bye. Then I'll have a hard time supporting B afterwards.

Not melting. But I think I now know what it's like being one of those abused spouses that just sticks around. Never leaving and never will.

I'm not melting, simply because I'm so perplexed by what happened in this game that I have no idea HOW to melt. It's like every one of our position groups had a bad game at the same time and everyone was having off days (which DO happen, just not in unison like that). This was not the Arkansas team that we've seen this season to date, I just can't figure out what was so different about last night.
I'm glad we have the bye to hopefully get our shite together, we could either come out with our hair on fire in 2 weeks or ready to call it quits, and I'll reserve my full judgement on CBB until I see how he prepares this team for the remaining games.

now that I've seen it in words, this is exactly how I feel. thoroughly confused by our performance
trying to figure out what was different about last night is what led me to consider the 8 game stretch with no bye. that's likely part of the reason but not all of it. there's so many contributing factors to consider

The more time that goes by the more pissed I'm getting. A whole freaking year we're going to have to take it from Aub and I can't even blame them- it was a massacre.

Weird weekend for me. I missed the game having a wedding to attend and spotty Internet service.
I managed to get a third qtr score of 35-3 and just couldn't believe what I was seeing. Very iffy that we would win, but the most embarrassing loss in the modern era is inexcusable.
Was productive Sunday and haven't felt the need to watch it yet.
But I will, because you've got to take the bad with the good as a Razorback fan.
This is nothing new.

This game didn't out do Jimmy Johnson's Miami team coming to LR in 87 in terms of embarrassment, for me...

We got our asses whooped, so we just have to roll with the punches on the aftermath. A&M has 5 in a row on us and we're probably going to waste Austin Allen's talent next year. If I wasn't numb I'd probably shite in a napkin and hide it in Beliema's vehicle.

I'm quite literally losing count of our losing streaks.
Bama - 10 straight
A&M - 5 straight (!)
Mississippi State - 4 straight (!)
Florida - 9 straight (since 1995 SECCG)
South Carolina (2 straight)
We're also 1-3 in our last 4 against Auburn, so there's that too.
All told, Bert is a combined 1-15 against Bama, A&M, Mississippi State and Auburn. Uncommon!

Have we fired Robb smith and rory seagrest yet?? I'm trying to tell myself that we was beat up and tired. That we will play better after the bye week. I still want them fired even if we win out.

Is it just me or did this look like an utter and complete lack of game preparation.
Clearly the kids didn't watch any film or so anything above and beyond. Probably too busy getting blow jibbers for beating an overrated Ole miss team.
The coaches are don't seem to know how to handle success very well probably from a lack of experience with it.
