I thought he was teaching his Dbs to turn their heads and look for the ball?
Something they have done less and less as the season has progressed.
If it isn't the coaching then it's the talent not able to take the coaching which leads to a huge circular logic of which needs to be replaced to fix the problem...

It's on the coaches to recruit better players dale. And finding a player In the secondary with good instincts and ball skills isn't over difficult. There's guys that can do that at the sun belt level

Would prefer that over the Liberty. At least it would be warmer. The Outback Bowl would have been nice, had we finished 8-4. Fat arse made sure that wasn't a possibility though.

The zero pass rush made our DB's look worse than they really are. Not saying they are good, just not quite as bad as it appeared.
ETA: Anything above Shreveport would be considered a 'win' in my book now. Hope for a winnable matchup.

Texas, Liberty, or Shreveport.
If we were riding our usual start slow, finish strong, bring lots of fans arc most bowls in the SEC footprint would be thrilled to have us.
Right now we have a few local bowls betting they can draw a decent enough crowd to make it worth their while.
If we go somewhere else its because they didn't get the team they wanted and the bowl is praying we show up if its held somewhere we don't usually go.
