Most of my family are NLR alums. Most say that KJ really wanted to be a Hog. Was steered away by step dad. BB got pissed when visits to Alabama and OSU were mentioned and terminated his offer. At that point, KJ had no choice. Step dad got butt hurt and apparently the wrong people got pissed off.
If the kid really wanted to be a Hog, but was pressured and then forced to look elsewhere, I wish him luck. Hopefully if he does succeed the extra distance will allow him to part ways with the parasites and move on without them.

i always kind of got that feeling just watching from afar. I never saw KJ say anything negative - and, really, he never said anything at all, negative or otherwise. whenever there were new visits, new discussions, new developments, Montez was in the middle of it. KJ was totally absent.

I really hate all this for KJ. Montez is obviously blinded more by the lights than KJ is. Would have been a good player for us. Sad that someone else screwed it up for him.

I don't usually mention "sources", as a matter of fact I never have. However, I'm friends with someone in the know...very much in the know, and I can tell you that this is not what happened.

just signed. he announced a few days before signing day that it would be ohio state.
