They are telling Muss to get your head out of your arse and make better decisions regarding recruiting. We will not unlike football tolerate these shitty losing seasons because we expect better

It isn't as hard as you think but this lame arse team makes the conference look better than they are.

Don't understand all the love for Beard.
He's 9 years younger than Muss and already has a higher ceiling with less resources.

I don't understand all trepidation quite honestly.

My point is that we already know he has baggage. IF Muss leaves then it will be around a likely dumpster fire so do we really need another baggage filled issue on top of the stupid crap we already have.
Need someone who will do it right and run a very tight ship.

I'd love to know how many great coaches we've missed out on because of "baggage".

I wonder how big a deal any of this would be if we were 18-2 instead of 10-10?

If we run off Muss because of this season we will be in for another decade or so of wandering in the desert. What coach would take the job with a fanbase so toxic they got their coach fired after one bad season following three straight Sweet 16 appearances?

"We're Arkansas! We can get our pick of coaches!"

Not if they see how we quickly we can turn on them. Some folks on here, and across the fan base, are just chomping at the bit to FAFO.

Who would want Mike Norvell and all of that baggage when we could have Chad Morris

Probably not much, but if they are 18-2 then there are no issues in the locker room, etc.

I think that is probably the issue most have with the entire scenario. I am a Christian and do not believe it is right for a man to play with another man's pee-pee. On that same note, it isn't right for a head football coach to be at the bar all night long when he has a wife at home and get slobbering drunk. I'll pray for the people involved in both scenarios, then hope they can still win games so my money isn't being flushed down the toilet.

So, in the end, I do not believe having gay players (possibly, it's still just a rumor) is what people are upset about. I believe they are upset with what has happened with the cohesion of the team, or lack thereof, and this is the reasoning that has been floating around. It could be three players brawling it out over a sneaker chaser, and it would be the same in my opinion.

Maybe I am wrong...but for me, I could not care less who sleeps with who. The problem I have, is just like someone who is straight, you NEVER have relationships with someone who works for you, works with you, a teammate, etc. It never ends well. Someone always gets their feelings hurt and then causes bigger issues with your company, or team in this case. Just dont do it, ever.

I heard that muss’s wife has weighed in on this and says it’s not true. I just don’t know which rumor she’s talking about.

You're a real pos.

"frick Muss. That's right I said it."

Imagine typing this and hitting enter. You're not that important. Nobody cares.

Who knows what's true or not..... if true it's wild, if not true I hate it for a bunch of young men that don't deserve that kind of bad publicity.
Either way I hope it all goes away quickly and we can focus on basketball.

Apparently Louisville boards are chattering about Muss being their guy as basically a lock right now.

Muss is savvy enough to reset his clock and not get fired. I figure he's out the day after the season...on his own will.

Not if he keeps assembling a roster like he did this year.

In a recent presser he alluded to allowing his staff to assemble this roster...

With the portal, it’s really important to have a coach in place by March 18.
