He got quite a few Arkansas related questions with the game being in Memphis.

I can't wait for this kid to move along. I'm so tired of this coming up every time he plays in our area.

I'm ready for him to go away, disappoint relative to his draft status, and stop talking about the hogs. His one year that he didn't spend here is not nearly as impactful on the program as other shite.

I feel the same way.

Am I the only one excited Monk won as many NCs as our boys did?

Yes, I'm still salty.

I have to say I never watched Monk play an awesome game. I mean I know he's really good and he didn't look bad when I watched but I was his Achilles heel as far as showing out and being worthy of the talk he receives. I feel accomplished.

I find it funny that he ended his season losing in the tournament to North Carolina just like he would have done at Arkansas. He even got to be on the losing end of a 12-0 UNC run to get the win.

I no longer consider the Monk family apart of Arkansas. They are a non-issue.

I normally try to stay away from the Monk topics because I think its a little silly to keep bringing it up but I can admit this is a little ironic and funny. A legit argument could be made that if he would have joined Arkansas we would have made it further than Kentucky.

On the other hand, to the people that are sick of hearing about the Monk and Arkansas connection (I'm right there with you). Just imagine if we had beat UNC and played them last night. That would have been a media shite storm.

I have a tough time with Monk because I feel like he betrayed the state. I feel like the state bent over backwards to keep him, and it was all for naught. That being said, this article about the shite hole that is Lapanto sort of made me feel for the kid. I still agree that he's ultimately unwelcome in Arkansas, now.

I don't. I'm from eastern AR so he isn't special.
He is definitely unwelcome.

One is an employee of a business and the other is a kid in High school.

I'm not really that upset with Malik for not coming to Arkansas. My problem here is with Marcus, him steering Malik to UK and his ulterior motives in doing so.

If he were like every other Arkansas high school kid then why would he go to a random university in Lexington, Kentucky?

He went there purely for a basketball "business decision." College basketball is a pretty big business.

Him choosing Kentucky is one thing.

Him and his brother leading Arkansas Fans on while promoting Marcus' "basketball showcases" is the reason I dislike the Monks.
