There was no hype, I can kinda see being aggravated that the team teased us with some good (kinda great) games only to lose to SC in the tourney but there wasn't much hype unless you consider the one or two dumbasses who started multi threads on the rant as 'hype'.

It wasn't an elimination game.
Arkansas is going to a tourney, for sure, something that seemed highly unlike after the first 8 games in SEC play.
I was keeping track of the NIT auto-bids and NCAA bids stolen through the conference tourney, but that thread is now a flame fest, is anyone interested in keeping up with that on this board?
I'm mainly curious too see how many "true" at-large bids there are in both tournaments, this isn't data that is easily found for both since the NCAA took over the NIT and made the auto qualifier change to the NIT.

The Arkansas victory today was the biggest Mizzou, UGA, LSU, and Tennessee fans have had in years, apparently.

Nah, it's much better than that.
Updated Palm has us the first team out with Mizzou and Providence ahead of us.
When Mizzou gets blown out tomorrow we'll jump them back, and if Seton Hall beats Providence we'll jump them too.
Not even including Dayton/USM possible losing as well.

They don't know how the committee will look at each's resume.
It isn't cut and dry and often will come down to "who did you play? who did you beat?".
Sometimes the numbers are enough (RPI, SOS, Sagarin)
They also will look at the last 10-12 games but are not limited to only those games now.
It doesn't matter, Arkansas gets in, that's great, #1 seed in the NIT, OK, I'm not being picky considering Arkansas hasn't made any post season play since Heath's final squad exhausted their eligibility.

I don't know why a LSU fan would root against Arkansas right now, if we fall to the NIT, LSU falls to staying home another year.
