You must have be confused, I usually do more bashing than hyping. I hate sunshine pumpers. We choked away the NCAAT by losing to two awful teams. It's inexcusable with how we had been playing.

Maybe I am. Either way I stand by my original post that this is better than being embarrassed in a game that every will be watching. At least no one saw this shite show two game run

Eh, we could have probably won a first round game. A 12 always beats 5, usually more than one per tourney.

I didn't think we'd beat Indiana in 2008.

I know what you mean, but it looks like I'm going to have to stay away from our own board for a while, or I'll end up asking a certain new non Hog fan to meet me at the Sonic.

You know, I will discuss basketball with anyone.

The last few weeks there has only been a hand full of other hog posters who will engage in talking about basketball.

The team loses and all these other come out of the woodwork to get their 2cents in on their utter disappointment and embarrassment.

Good basketball topics on tRant, topics that have been good all this week, which is rare because of the lack of interest from most of the posters that contribute gets absolute derailed straight into the shite house because some shite heels think their lame arse troll attempts the post before, during, and after every game are clever and funny. Those posts get drug into a great informative thread and turns it into a flame fest.

frickING STAHP.

If Sao or Latarian is not on tRant making sound fact based threads that casts other fan bases in a funny light, don't try to create your own. Matter of fact, I'm instituting the Bobby Knight rule, you frickers are now on the bench, when you get the nod to go into the game, Sao and Lat each need to have the ball for 3 possessions (3 threads started each) before any of you even think about starting your own.

Knock this shite off...

Losing always sucks. Of course everyone would rather make the tourney than not. But, I will say, I think that Arky had a stretch of games towards the end of conference play that gave a glimpse of what to expect in the future. Personally, I thought the Hogs were playing as good as anyone in the conference, UF included. And not just for one game. Not just 2 games. It was an extended stretch. I think there's a bright future and frankly, those that say the extra practices and games for the young players is a good thing, they're right, even if it's not in the tourney.

And wasn't really responding to you Dale. Just responding.

It was disappointing loss today for sure. Staying on the positive vibe, we were 1 of only 4 (maybe 5) SEC teams that had a shot of getting in the NCAA. So, Hogs> 10 other SEC programs. Hard to have the bubble burst on us like it did, but it would've been worse to have our season end 3 weeks ago like most other teams.

Have seen a couple tweets now that think we still have a chance to get in with a lot of help.

Cal just lost who was behind us in the first four out, so that's a start.

We need USM to lose tonight, Dayton to lose, and Mizzou to get blown out by UF.

And then probably even some more, but there's a slim chance still.

UF should blow Mizzou out.

Not sure on Dayton and USM.

We've lost a lot of close games this year.

We are missing a PG who will take charge of the floor. Madden at one point in the 2nd half turned the ball over on 3 consecutive trips. He just isn't a PG. He had a great year compared to his past years here, but he is not a PG by any stretch.

Kingsley played great today.

Difference was SCar shooting 41 damn free throws. Whistle ever time they drove the lane.

Slice needs to get in officials ears to protect this leagues tourney hopefuls. Officiating IMO, including our home games! is the downfall of this league.

You'll probably be disappointed on Sunday. We're going to need a miracle to win the Indoor title this weekend because of injuries to our top two guys.

I've talked basketball for the last 4-5 years on this site. I've been going to games since I can remember Barnhill on. I just get tired of people overhyping our basketball teams every fricking season. We haven't been good since the 90's, lets face it.

I blame the local/state media for this, but average fans should know better as well. We're just not good yet. Hopefully next year

I didn't name anyone as the people who will/have discuss this team will notice who the new names are.

Arkansas' roster this year relies on shooting, go look at every loss and notice how the shooting dropped off in one area, fg, 3 point, or FT, that is where the losses can be found the majority of the time.

The had 7 opportunities late in the game to extended the lead, take the lead, or extend the game. They did not get it done on any of them, that is another theme of most of the losses this year.

You can say its a missing piece, type player, etc., but it is to the point where all you can say is they were in the position to win games, but failed to do so.
