Les .. 65 years old with Nat'l Champ credentials to immediately bring Hogs into contention with ability to recruit in the deep South. His last coaching job.

Norvell ...State of Arkansas allegiance with a solid record at Memphis state at a bargain price, perhaps? Young man and ambitious may prove to be a starting place for national recognition, however.

Holtz. Arkansas ties with solid record at LA Tech recruiting players most local to that Ruston base college. Believe he ia a diamond in the rough who will likely move to better things as my concern with Norvell. Nonetheless, a matter we must contend regardless of whom we hire.

My votes are in that order.

No offense, but Norvell is the only one of those three I’d even consider.

WTF is this shite?

Really?

The next coach will need to be 55 years old or younger. If the coach is older than 45 he'll need Power 5 or NFL head coaching experience.

The only one of your three that fits that criteria is Norvell.

Skip is the worse coach in USF's history.

The idea coach IMO is one with SEC competition in his resume. Not many out there we can afford.

Young coaches are always those with great ambitions among their desire to win. That is the draw back with those good coaches, I believe.

Back to Les Miles as number one. Gus is one I omitted whom I believe is secure for another season or two in Auburn earning a huge salary. In other words, he ain't coming back.

I'm surprised he didn't throw Petrino in there, the meaney Long is gone and his buyout dropped in half via the firing of Jurich.

Okay that may be true. I dunno? I do know he was there for 3 years and never took his team to a bowl even though he won many games his first year! He was fired after his 3rd year as dismal performances tend to place a coach everywhere but Arkansas.

HOWEVER, his performances at E. Carolina and LA Tech have seen 8 or 9 bowl games in this tenure of coaching nearing 13 years or more.

Nonetheless, that is why he is number 3 knowing he can win with the handicap of playing HS recruits within a 100 mile radius of his campus. Not bad at all don't you agree?

Listen Skip, you've never won 10 games in a season. If you can't put up a 10 win season at some low to mid level school, it sure isn't happening in the SEC.

Sorry, we're not interested.

Skip Holtz is the only coach to fail at USF.

Leavitt succeeded.
Holtz failed.
Taggart succeeded
Strong is suceeding
