Powell is probably the only guy on that list of players that was anything special. Not sure why you're so impressed by that team

It was a team that won 32 games in two years.

1 Madracus Wade

kiko barely played that year. he was the guy that fans cheered to chunk threes once the bench got dumped on the court. same with Scott.

id take Dusty over Rotnei, Durham over Julysses, Bell over Wade, Manny over Britt, and Kouassi/Trey over StoneHands Sanchez, and i dont even know what the frick a delvon johnson is.

Bryant showed unrealized potential before he transferred, leaving the team with one player that would be an improvement on Mikes recruiting in Powell, but he was such a defensive liability that you could easily say Moses is an upgrade here as well, though obviously better than Miles.

this years team is more talented, but much less seasoned. Pels guys had all played.

It's pretty bad. I was a huge Mike fan but if next years team doesn't go dancing, we need to cut ties and take a chance on a serious up and comer.

I'd kill for Archie Miller right now. It's basketball, you don't need 3 years to rebuild. Anything more than 2 and its a problem of coaching and planning.

Rotnei transferred because his dad didn't want him playing for a black coach. True story.

Mike caught hell for recruiting and signing a player to replace a guy who told him he was leaving early, then decided he needed another year, meaning he had to pull the new comer's scholly and offer a grey shirt while at Mizzou.

I wouldn't really care if Mike got fired. I was excited when we hired him but one good year in five has me about as apathetic to Hog ball as I've ever been.

Also I doubt a few JUCO recruits are going to turn us into world beaters next year like some seem to think.

Dusty's chick is 50x hotter.

She's probably the hottest chick ever at the U of A. And that is saying A LOT.

I think there might be a game tonight. Cops were at the traffic lights but no traffic were at the lights.

I never wanted Mike but felt like we needed to hire him in order to placate a segment of our fan base who pined for the Nolan days. This day has been coming since we hired him.

That said, I don't think you fire MA.

The school/program can make some changes to make Mike better. We now have the practice facility, which is good.

Improve Bud Walton Arena, it has become something of a dump. This has been under way and the ribbon board is nice but Improve the lighting in concession areas (and the food too), update the walls around the concourse and show off the highlights of our program, and for gawd's sake make the museum something worth touring.

Fill up the bloody seats for all games, even if you give the seats away. It was a ghost town last night.

Hire a professional PR firm. Improve the basketball brand, advertise, and most importantly work with the coaches on their recruiting presentation, their communication with in-home visits, their ability to sell kids, families, and coaches on the program.

Finally, gotta get dirty.

MA will never be a great coach, particularly with fundamentals, but these improvements would vastly improve his program. Gonna cost $ to make $.
