I guess AA and RW3 are just Heisman caliber players who have to do everything themselves with no OL to help

Our oline is decent at run blocking and basically non functional in passing situations. The problem with the mediocre line when you play out style of football is it guarantees you a mediocre team.

We got physically manhandled up front by every decent opponent we played. We don't pass protect at all. Hell I think LA Tech sacked us like 7 times in that near disaster.

We put 30 points on probably Saban's best defense of all time. 3rd in total offense in the league. Stop being so dramatic. With a halfway decent defense we win 10 games this season. That was our problem, not the offense.

We scored 3 points @ Auburn. We scored 10 points against LSU. We didn't score at all in the second half against 4-8 Missouri. We struggled to run the ball pretty much until we got to shite on some horrid defenses late in the year. The play of the offensive line is largely responsible for a lot of the things I just alluded to. We might have scored 30 on Bama but the line didn't do Austin any favors that day. Member the absolute bludgeoning he took?

Auburn and LSU had top 15-20 defenses, not chopped liver. We put 24 on Florida, top 10 defense. Look, the OL wasn't up to usual Bielema standards but it wasn't nearly as bad as you guys make it out to be and the stats prove it. Our OL was good enough for us to be a very good team but when you give up 45 to A&M, 56 to Auburn and 38 to LSU it's hard to win no matter how great your OL is.

Incorrect.

For me the story of the season was the inability of the OL to play with any sort of strength in the redzone.

How many of y'all said "oh shite" everytime we almost scored and were faced with having to score from inside the 5.

I think Bert is a functioning retard/alcoholic whichever you prefer. Not kicking the FG to get it to 28-27 put us in a spot where we were forced to score a TD and we all saw how that turned out.

I trust McFain to make 2 chip shot FG's to win the game 30-28. Too bad his own coach didn't and that falls back onto the kicking game coordinator, Segrest. Fault Segrest for all his failures on the DL, but his failures in coaching up kickers cost the team multiple games.

The biggest of those being the coaching frick up that cost us the MSST game last year. When we should've won 9-10 games instead of 7.

When you have a historically bad defense, you're gonna get more opportunities on offense and you've got to play catch up or play to keep a lead by outscoring since you can't stop anyone.

Bad teams often put up a lot of yards despite not winning a bunch. Our offensive stats are a bit misleading.

24 vs A&M, 24 vs Mizzou should both be good enough to win those games with a good defense.

Hell 10 on LSU and 30 on Bama would be toss ups too.

And our offense saved our arse against TCU, Ole Miss and State.

This is why we were 7-5, not our offensive line

CFBStats goes back until 2008, and 2016 Arkansas’s 7.8 yds/play allowed (vs conf teams) is the worst in CFB in this span.

Inability to stop the QB run, edge runs and the deep pass

Stop Mizzou in the 2nd half, enough points were scored by the offense
