I know nothing of the Pel situation. What happened?

Time to tell the truth. Pel is into BBC and was sexually harassing players

So, I have been told this is from one of Pittmans wifes friends husband, who attended a womens bible study group with her at Crosschurch during the day, possibly once or twice a week. They became close or something, yada yada yada.
This is the issue with getting close with coaches. Some people just take things too far and let their personal feelings get into it. I can understand, because I became close with the People's under Petrino. It was hard to see them leave and had many great evenings with them both. I guess it was a little easier for me, because once everything happened with Petrino I really grew a dislike for him.
Same thing when Bert was hired. Became friends with another new coach or two only to see one find a job elsewhere, then another to follow that coach to their new destination. It was not anger, but being happy for them with a type of promotion. Still, its hard to see them go, especially good people.
When Anderson was hired, I really enjoyed getting to know a couple guys on his staff, but I think that is actually what has taught me to really watch being friends with coaches. Its hard for me to be dishonest with people and its hard for me not to tell people what I think.
Now the Bert situation that is described in this persons comment...Very fabricated. Bert has settled down quite a bit since he has been here. Most of you know the stories of him at his favorite spot for much of his first season and into his second. He wouldn't get belligerent or anything of that nature. The last couple of years though, he has really started staying more around his and Jen's house when nightfall rolls around.
Thats just my two cents and it is why you only believe half of what you see and nothing that you read as rumor.

His real problem was his Kentucky roots leaving him liking the scripts a little too much if you know what I mean.
The dog story was him having a pitt bull who got out of his yard and killed a neighbors dog in front of small children who owned the dog and Pel telling his neighbor to get fricked when confronted about it. Paraphrasing long story short.

I think Pel was also fricked up one day at practice and got took in a scrimmage game and damn near got into a fist fight with a player before falling on his arse.
By fricked up I mean, pills mixed with a little drank.
Its why he always talked so fast...dude is a tweaker.

Pell was called "pill" often....
Nickname fit it seems.
CBB isn't a falling down alcoholic, and he has slowed down a bit.

He got his arse beat in practice by McDonald which is why he was kicked off the team...

And that other dog shite coach. What was his name with Stef Welch?
But yea, TONS of stories about Pel showing up to team meetings SUPER late and even keeping the press waiting a ton of times.
Dude was a spasmo redneck POS making way too much money with way too much access to the narcotics.

If Bert didn't drink before the last couple of games he should start

Also remember coach has no kids. Life's a little different when you have no kids. What else is there really to do on a Tues6day night after you are done eorking. The responsibility level is something people who have had kids for a while take for granted. You realize as long as I do my job effectively no one cares.
The upcoming baby should change him alot

I've been thinking the same thing once I heard they were having a kid. That changes a man. Sure did me. For the better of course.

Nothing on footballscoop, who I trust INFINITELY more than Mr. Otis. He may be hearing names, but up to this point nobody has scooped a CBB hire by more than a few hours before it was actually announced.
But, since I have nothing better to do right now, I'm trying to figure out who we'd be "shocked" by in his opinion? That pretty much excludes any of the obvious answers like Partridge, Rhoads, Diaco, etc.

UNC was only 4 spots ahead of us in total defense so i hope it's not Chiz lol

Chiz has been wanting back in the SEC for a while now. Has something to prove.
Doubt it is him, however that would be Bert's MO with all the past HC's on the staff. We shall see!
