I lived in little Rock for a few years. I give the place a lot of shite, but I enjoyed the downtown area, which I imagine most visitors do as well.
Not sure you will have time for a good meal, but if so, I used to hit up Sonny Williams for a steak and I used to kill the Boston casserole at Cajuns Wharf.
Of course, this was six years ago, so I'm not sure if Cajuns is what it used to be food wise.
I'd advise staying away from any of the hotels right beside the stadium. West Little Rock is a good area as well. Not sure about now, but West End used to be a pretty good drinking spot mainly because I liked the amount of TVs they had.

And, I'd also advise not hitting up Discovery....unless you enjoy drag shows, ecstasy, and male on male bathroom shenanigans

I was in LR a few years ago for a Halloween show(Pretty lights & Big Gigantic). We got in a cab and told the driver "take sj where the party is at tonight." Bastard took us to discovery 
We ended up having a good time, there was a full dub room in the back next to a club like room. We ventured into the other "room" and found out it was drag and immediately left that room and went back to our "safe" area.

If you booked now I would be shocked, SHOCKED, if you couldn't book the La Quinta downtown for 79 bucks plus tax. Free shuttle too bro. Hell if you end up downtown I may come have a drink with ya.

I booked flight through priceline so it's non refundable, but the hotel you just put a hold on. So I may end up doing that.

Wow they have still have a few rooms at the same price and the hotel looks much MUCH nicer. I'll probably do that tonight.

Also every local is going to want you to go to the Flying Fish. Don't bother; it's just another fish chain. Saturday go to Dizzy's get a cheap good meal then go to Juanita's, Rev Room, or Sticky's and see a cheap shitty band. It sounds bad, but it's fun.

Saturday if I go out I'll be solo again, since the crew I'm going to the game with is just driving straight through the night from ATL and picking me up, so they'll be tired as shite most of Saturday morning...then after tailgating all day (and with the drive back to GA on Sunday) they probably wont' do anything but crash.
Fortunately, I made my return flight Sunday for late afternoon, so I can go hard SAturday. Honestly Friday I'd prefer to just stay low key since I'll be partying all day Saturday. But yeah I'm good for Saturday.

good deal. Well when we get closer to time I'll ask for specific recommendations. I'd prefer to not go out solo Saturday night somewhere I don't know so yeah if you or anyone else want to get together and crush beers that'd be great.
