In 2006 I finally could afford season tickets. It was the greatest thing. I loved every Saturday, I couldn't wait for football to start and ate up recruiting and spring football. I was all in. I told my eyes when they flew banners but understood the sentiment. I was in shock and couldn't give them my money fast enough when they hired Bobby. Success at work allowed me to contribute to the foundation, got better seats, more seats. I was all in. I didn't miss a home game from 2006 till last season. In 2010/2011 seasons I didn't miss any games, road or home. I live 4 hours from Fayetteville but that didn't bother me at all. I bought a tailgate trailer, I drove it all over the SEC. I attended at least half the baseball games from 2009-2015. I made almost every basketball game. From 2006-2016 I donated over 75k to the foundation. Then this past spring I just didn't want to anymore. I just don't care as much anymore. Years of consistent mediocrity have just killed my enthusiasm for all things razorbacks. I still watch or listen, but I just don't care. This past football season I went to 3 games, 1 was Alabama and then I forced myself to go to a second. I left in the 2nd quarter. I can't even tell you what game it was, I just know I left early. I took my dad to Dallas to see that game. The only saving grace is the my dad and I had a blast together that weekend. So when bowl tickets came around my wife said how many are we getting I just told her I'm done. I have no faith in the leadership of the department. I didn't donate to baseball when that came due in November and then when football came due a few weeks ago I just let it go. 10 years, 75k in donations, another 15-20k in tickets purchased. Gone. I just don't care anymore. There's not a product on any field or gym floor that feel like is worth my time or money. It's sad really, what could I have done with all that time and money. I have memories and that's cool but I'm really just more ticked that bielema and long have killed my enthusiasm. I just don't see a drive, a desire to be great in either one of them. Then what ticks me off even more is that not once did a get a phone call or an email asking why I wasn't renewing. The days came and went and not a thank you for your giving, tell us why you're upset, nothing. Oh well. Rant over.

The business scale has changed at the UofA regarding athletics. It is about money, but seemingly only about large money. Small amounts seemingly don't matter anymore.

I too have given a bunch since becoming a foundation member and season tix holder and considering letting it go.

When the new construction began, I received a letter letting me know that my seats may be affected and that someone from the foundation would be coming to see me and show me options in newer seating areas with an opportunity to skip others in line for said seating to keep me as a season ticket holder.

Registered letter nonetheless, and then Crickets. I have called and asked, and nothing.

The our local razorback club evidently isn't making enough money to matter any more as well. Under the new admin we are viewed as too small, too little to matter.

Evidently they want to become Yuge without the You or me involved.

THis is probably my last season to purchase tickets. Apathy has set in for me mostly. However, I an very glad CMA has turned the corner, or so it seems.

CBB, I am getting tired of... Baseball, never was a huge supporter to begin with and am mediocre in my support there. So... Next person up!

The majority of my enthusiasm and hope left when Petrino was fired. I got some of it back the season before last, but I'm fully realizing that we are just gonna be a mid tier team in the SEC. Our recruiting base is too horrid. It takes a unique coach to overcome our (lack of) talent.

Petrino, despite him being a prick, was an elite level coach that could make our 2 and 3 star talent look so much better due to scheme and his demand for perfection on the field. He was our lightning in a bottle.

I think the overall lack of enthusiasm for the spring game this weekend signifies that people are ready for Bielema to shut the F up and show some results on the field.

I read a good article on Jamario Bell running the "hog" outside linebacker spot after being recruited as a TE/DE. Could be special. After another Aggie loss we'll get to hear about how the 3-4 isn't quite there yet. Feed me some more good news Bert!

Amen, Amen and more Amen.

If the football season started right now I'm not sure I'd even watch the games- for sure I wouldn't go out of my way to watch any games.

Basketball got me a little excited this past season, I would hope that continues but I'm not holding my breath.

People are just apathetic to Bert and his schtick. After numerous times of giving up big leads (ie Mizzou and VT), not showing up to play (ie Auburn and Toledo), broken feet (it's not the shoes Fat arse), and not knowing when to shut the hell up, the fans are tired of him and ready for him to go. Unfortunately, our dumb arse AD gave him a huge buyout.

i generally like bielema and want him to succeed at a high level. i'm just tired of all the talking. he acts like all this stuff we do is unique and sets us apart from other programs, when all it does is raise our team GPA a few percentage points.

I also don't trust the practice reports or talk radio guys anymore, whatsoever. Hell i haven't read a recruiting breakdown or watched a video of a kid in 2 years. I guess my message is this:

I DON'T BELIEVE ANY OF YOUR OVERHYPED bullshite ANY MORE

however, i'll still go to most home games because i enjoy NWA and seeing my old college friends.

It always amazes me how many of our fans haven't grasped this yet. The SWC days aren't coming back, no matter the head coach, as long as we're in the SEC.

I like some of things Bert is doing and the emphasis on making sure our players get an education for life after football is a very good thing.

That having been said you can stress the importance of an education and still put out a good product on the field. Arkansas has only sporadically put out a good product on the field during his tenure here.

The few times that he gets seriously POed about something and goes all out in the prep for that week we've looked like a completely different team. After getting destroyed by Auburn he has the team come out with a mean streak against Florida and blows the doors off them... only to go back to half arsing it the next week.

It is starting to look like Houston Nutt syndrome. Nutt would coast through a season but by God one or two games a year he'd have circled on the calendar and we'd play out of our minds. Those games were great but as the years rolled on you had to start asking why don't we play like that all the time?

What's the point of being in the SEC if this is true? I get that it makes money but from a fan perspective that doesn't mean much to me if it doesn't lead go results.

I would rather be at the top of a mediocre conference than be capped at 7/8 wins in the SEC.

You will be accused of accepting mediocrity but this is true for the most part.

I agree but this is what most coaches do, just look at how Butch acts.

I always try to be fairly skeptical because no one is going to come on the air and talk about how much we suck even when we will, those people are trying to sell hope to us.

He was a good coach but I'm not sure why people always say we have 2 stars all over the field when he had a 5* QB and multiple 4* skill position players.

Here is your key word. We could lose every game but if the fans keep going to games and we keep brining in that tv revenue then it won't matter.

Our approach here is to make money first and hope we can take that money and produce wins.
In a case like Bama for instance their approach is to win first and the money will follow.

See the difference.

I'm willing to start going with a win at all costs mentality.

I made a tweet, back when season ticket renewals went out and folks were clamoring that they weren't renewing, about renewing mine no matter what and how this would be a great time for me to improve my seats with all these supposed openings. I got blasted by numerous folks saying I was accepting mediocrity for having the audacity to renew my seats and using them leaving to my advantage. It was awesome.

I love this type of logic, like if no one shows up maybe Long will fire Bert and hire the next Saban

Two star line is definitely a lie but besides maybe one year his recruiting classes were nothing special. He is just one of the best offensive minds in college football.
