Bad losses at home won't get you in the Tourney.

And this was a terrible loss.

Face the facts. We don't rebound and we don't guard the 3. This is not about talent, it's all about coaching.

One of the commentators actually brought this up, don't remember the stats but teams have a losing record the game after Kentucky from the last few years.

Not that I'm sayiing that is any type of excuse

Guess we'll see. State obviously isn't as bad as you think.

If we don't make the tournament I'll start to sour on Mike, but I'm confident we'll make it.

College basketball (the whole body of work) is a shell of what it used to be. The NBA has ruined basketball.

This is the worst rebounding team at Arkansas that I can remember.

And Miss. St is 214th in the country in rebounding.

Last night did it for me.... time for a change... this style of play only works if you are tenacious on defense and we obviously aren't and haven't been the entire MA tenure... to play fast there has to be a purpose.... we don't have one... we don't run the floor, can't defend the perimeter, and don't press aggressively enough to bring conditioning of the other team into question. This is NOT 40 minutes of Hell... not even close.
I really like MA but this product is not producing... I don't care what our non-conference record is... we can't freaking win at home in an abysmal league.
.... and I won't even go into the players from Arkansas on other rosters.... we will save that discussion for later.
No butts in seats + lack of quality wins = time for changes

Ugh it's awful. They need a 30 game season so they actually are.

Just 1 on 1 while 8 other dudes walk and stand around.

That's Anderson's MO his whole tenure here so far. I never get it

That's not even close to accurate.

This is accurate

Arkansas was 247th in the country in scoring defense last season, allowing 74.7 points per game, and it's currently 216th while allowing opponents to score an average of 73.3 per game.

Improvement?

Not so much.

I think I'll call the ticket office and ask for my money back for this year. I registered a complaint when JImmy Dykes didn't stand up to his 'team' and they knelt for the National Anthem...and enough others did the same. Those complaints were clearly heard and responded to...so maybe the fact that some of us will quit paying for the empty seats and let Jeffy eat that cost will do the trick.

The product we put on the floor is deplorably bad.

NBA is way exponentially higher quality basketball than any other league in the world

1. The NBA season is fine how it is, having basketball everyday is a good thing. 2. No one would pay 150 bucks for nosebleed seats and that's what the average price would be if there was 15-20 home games. The average is already 50 bucks for nosebleed with 42 games. 3. "So they actually are"??? They are what? This is a very oddly worded statement.

You obviously should watch some more basketball, because iso ball has been getting less and less common in the league every year. None of the top teams in the NBA right now are one man shows. The best players in the league are dishing the ball to their team mates a lot. I honestly can't think of a time NBA basketball was more fun to watch than right now.

Let me guess, you're white.
Have 2, maybe 3 kids.
You wear denim shorts with white crew socks.

I've been a pretty diehard Mavs fan since the late 80s (thanks, Dad). I still watch almost every game. We suck balls now, but I still follow the NBA and it's really hard for me to disagree with this statement. Triple doubles are happening with regularity. Teams like the Spurs, Warriors, Cavs? They all swing the ball and find the open shooter. That's not selfish, ISO ball at all. It's as close to Euro-league ball as the NBA's been in my lifetime, really.
