Bad loss for sure, can't believe we let Weatherspoon kill us the whole game. And players who weren't doing well getting tons of playing time while better players sit on the bench was a head scratcher. Got a lot to work on defensively.

There's a real possibility we're replacing our men's and women's basketball coaches and football coach in the same calendar year. I hope everyone is ready to build that into their yearly donation budget cause it might get ugly.

Jesus were gonna have to take out a mortgage on the stadium at this rate to pay for our poor coaching hires and contract negotiations.

19 from Kingsley, 17 from Hannahs, 11 from Beard, 10 from Barford. Shot 48% from the field to their 46%...lost and never led whole 2nd half. Sigh.

If Macon or Barford have off nights we lose, just how it is. I think we knew coming into the season relying on first year JUCOs, regardless of how good they are, would be inconsistent at best.

We just have no forwards outside Kingsley, if there was such thing as negative depth at a position, we would have it. 6 points total from the field from forwards not named Moses. Cook/Kingsley/Thompson with a combined total of 9 rebounds too. Yikes. Our leading rebounder was Thomas, by multiple, over a guard.

Cook-2
Thompson-0
Bailey-0
Thomas-4

And if you want to throw CJ Jones into that hybrid category give him a solid 0 points too.

Don't want to go in a different direction because we have great recruits coming in... but MA is a crap coach. Does he even coach?

That press really puts fear in these opponents too! It's a huge green light.

Yeah State was just on fire. I watched their game against LSU on Saturday and it was the same story, I didn't think they would duplicate that performance on the road again so quickly. No answer for Weatherspoon and Mike couldn't find the right combination to get back in the game.

I'm still confident we'll make the tournament based on our body of work thus far, just had an off night and the other team's superstar got hot. Reminded me of the Ole Miss game a couple years ago when they had Stefan Moody and they couldn't miss a three all game.

Yeah tonight did it for me. What's the point of staying up and watching games and following a team that isn't going to even compete for a tourney spot.

I want Mike fired. Let someone else try and come in and get those good recruits. Heath was better than Anderson.

It seems every team is "on fire" against Arkansas. At some point you have to call it like it is, piss poor defense.

I was a CMA supporter. I wanted him here and I have defended him, but I'm to the point that I don't think it's going to work out.

I'd rather be "meh with mike" than pay any more money to the University of Arkansas.

I've found much more interesting things to do with my free time, and based on the declining attendance for NCAA sports, it looks like others might have adopted this trend as well.

I think what is most frustrating for myself is his inability to make adjustments.

He sticks with his switch and trap style regardless if the other team is murdering us from deep.

It gets fricking annoying. We continuously leave guys wide fricking open and they continuously make them. BUT NO lets keep doing what we are doing.

I thought Moses played well.

I'm really surprised by the shooting % - Dusty was hot in the 2nd half after being off the whole first half, Beard at one point had 3 or 4 bad shots in a row before he made one. I guess MSU's 4000 offensive rebounds may have been the difference.

The poor fans in attendance, they tried to get as rowdy as they could but it's hard so hard when you're watching another dud.

Its because Mike does no film study.

He is a classic "We will do what we do and live with the outcome" type of coach. The problem is, when we do what we do, someone is wide arse open and have been for 6 seasons. Every swinging dick we play has a career night from 3 point range because they're wide arse open.

Trapping someone is going to leave someone else open. Its inevitable. No way around it. Trapping in the corners, fine, its doable. Trapping on a wing around the 3 point line or trapping at the top of the key beyond the three point line is stupid. Plain and simple.

Our pressure is terrible. The team would be better off NOT putting any type of full court press and setting up in half court defense. We get burned on open shots when he does that as well, or layups.

Its just fricking old. Mike is wearing out his welcome IMO. The worst case scenario is playing out, from his hiring.
