Maybe Bell just seems to miss every shot

Anthlon Bell
19/45 42% 3-pt

As a reference.....Todd Day was a career 38% from long range...Lee Mayberry was a career 42%...Scotty Thurman was a career 43%...Rotnei Clarke was a career 41%...

Pat Bradley had one season over 42%, every other year was less than 41%

actually think that was one of the worst deep ball we have had all year and it was good for 36% which is actually good.

It just felt like we couldnt hit shite because isu was hitting just about everything.

I love that it had the feel of a Big Time college basketball game and our team was a part of it. It was a bad matchup for us. If anyone watched the wv/lsu game, the quality of play was night and day. We would have run wvu off their own court.

our style of play is not conducive to winning away from home or on a neutral floor.

This is myth, thinking one style or another had an advantage based on where the the games are played has led to schools hiring the likes of Stan Heath, John Pelphrey etc. who coached under coaches who use this style, all sucked on the road.

Only the elite teams finish a season with a road record above .500, good to great teams will have a record around .500. Doesn't matter what style they play, who their coach is, what their philosophy to lead to wins is, etc.

Which means there is something else to it than style of play, something simple to figure out, yet very hard to implement.

Most guys who are considered to be great 3 point shooters shoot around 33% or better, basically one out of three, but with some posters all these players suck, system sucks, school sucks, etc.

No easily found facts will change their minds, the game isn't being played how they think it should be played, the players one the court are the type they think should be, etc.
