“We’re at the very beginning stages of a very brutal and bloody conflict.”
“We are in an outright war against jihadists, Islam, Islamic fascism,” Bannon continued. He likewise condemned “the immense secularization of the West” and the increasing secularism among millennials.
Bannon stressed that “the people in this room, and the people in the Church” must “bind together and really form what I feel is an aspect of the Church militant, to really be able to not just stand with our beliefs but to fight for our beliefs against this new barbarity that’s starting that will literally eradicate everything that we’ve been bequeathed over the last 2,000 and 2,500 years.”
That's basically the exact fricking vision of ISIS if you sub out Islam and replace it with Christianity.
It's the same kind of bigotry, the same kind of hatred and the same kind of totalitarian aspirations.
They also promote the same kind of terrorism.

Uh, not really. And not even close.
Re-evaluate your thought process if you are comparing Conservative Christians, even whackos like Westboro, to ISIS. They behead kids, burn people alive, and make toddlers execute their enemies.
You're saying crazy stuff by comparing the two.

Obviously none of you have even a passing acquaintance with History
You're fricking deluded if you don't think it's exactly the same thing and that they'd be doing those things if they could.
I'm guessing based on current events though, fricking deluded is a good way to describe a lot of the population.
Jim Jones
David Koresh
Warren Jeffs
Those guys were Christians. Those guys were all from the United States.
When you get into extreme religious beliefs it doesn't matter. They will murder/rape/torture all in the name of god.
More good radical Christians :)

I can't stand Rapert and hope he's gone after the next election but the deal with the guys food truck logo I'm a little torn on. Attack someone online and they strike back - hmm, it might be a good lesson to be learned by all.
The guy with the food truck probably screwed up but he's not an elected official.
It's not an elected official's place to be calling for boycotts of private businesses or entire groups of Americans.

If they are like Isis, what's stopping them? Laws, gun free zones, travel bans?
You dumb

Tyson Chicken is stopping them.
That's the only thing preventing them from rising up and overthrowing the government.
Mostly though, it's the terrorist matrix. The United States is economically prosperous.
When people are prosperous their dislike of everything is less severe.
Here's how you get terrorists:
You have a set of people that are unhappy with some idea or condition.
You have a subset of those people who are unhappy enough to actively protest.
You have another subset of those people who are sufficiently unhappy to be militant about the issue.
You have the final subset which are those who are willing to commit terrorist acts because they are so unhappy about an issue.
This can be ANY issue. All that matters is the amount of unhappy people, the depth of their unhappiness, and the surrounding economic conditions which can focus things on that problem.
If the United States goes into an economic downturn you will see a rise in incidents. Alienation is also a key issue in terrorism which is why Right Wing terrorism or fundamentalist terrorism is a lot more common. The change in society alienates the individuals. (Right wing indicates conservative, not necessarily Republican. ISIS and Al Qaeda would be examples of conservative Islamic groups)
The strong central government of the United States prevents fringe groups from gaining power and traction. Provide a power vacuum and those groups will rise up. Consequently, if you have a central government seizing too much power, then it focuses discontent on itself and creates the pretext for a rise in terrorism.

So you just described the Democrats, well done

There will undoubtedly be liberal terrorists. It's a numbers game.
Of course White Supremacist groups have killed more Americans than Islamic terrorists since 9/11.
And of course the Republican party plans to kill tens if not hundreds of thousands of Americans with their policies, but hey, who's counting.
I mean Trump supporters actually voted for a representative of a foreign power because they're too fricking dumb to realize anything :)

Do you really think Bannon would order people to go to say... I don't know, Baltimore and knock door to door slaughtering anyone who refused believe in Jesus Christ?........yeah I don't think so either. Bannon is undeniably a sensationalist; also delusional, niave, wreckless, and needs to get the hell out of the white house. I just also think all the Hitler and ISIS comparisons are a bit nuts and as out of touch with reality as he is.

Add all of those #'s together, and it it's a drop in the bucket, compared to how many minority eople we could have contributing to our community, if liberals didn't encourage planned parenthood.
Whose policies have killed more?

It would be phrased as "Go door to door and find the terrorist sympathizers and arrest them and send them to the holding facility"
Trump already classes everybody who doesn't agree with him as an enemy.
The real issue is the comparisons absolutely aren't out of touch with reality. It's a very strong parallel. Once again, read a few books on Hitler's rise to power, the methodology and actions. I guarantee Bannon has read those books because that's what is being used. Trump supporters don't give two shits about democracy.
President Bannon, Trump and his supporters have had a complete break from reality. No matter how much they spew random shite, it doesn't change actual facts. It doesn't change what's happening to the environment, to our world and what's happening to people.
By the end of his presidency there will be more lives lost and immeasurable damage to American prestige and power. Quite likely to the point where we are no longer the leader of the free world and potentially no longer the most economically powerful nation.

Abortion isn't murder. Masturbation isn't murder.
What's happening in Texas, with the massive increase in the pregnancy mortality due to cutting services, that's murder.
Why do you keep trying to impose your fairy tale religious values on me? When I stopped being a kid I stopped believing in Santa Claus, Elves and other made up things like a benevolent omnipotent god. I mean if you're going to try and base society off of a fictional book, why couldn't it be a good one, where people respect each other and cooperate.
Besides, population is a serious issue now. If something helps curb population growth it is beneficial to the chances of human civilization actually existing longer than another two centuries.
Edit: Another random fun abortion fact
The abortion rate has been stable for centuries. Roe v. Wade served mainly to reduce the mortality in mothers attempting abortions by providing a safe medical situation for it to happen. Ever heard of Pennyroyal Tea? It's an abortifactant that has been used for longer than the United States has been a nation. There have been others uses since before Christianity even existed.

We certainly can. Did you know you have to have at least 1 million in free cash in order to start a dispensary here in Arkansas? You also need an extra 100,000 for some sort of regulatory fee. Seems quite excessive to me, how many people are there in Arkansas with over a million in free capital outside of NWA and Little Rock? Seems like their trying to ensure someone in big business is in control of the medical marijuana dispensaries.

True, true, true- and if a bunch of my Christian (err Isis) friends were going to maim one of them and I had to decide which, I would choose Rapert. But it's still a good lesson to learn for the food truck guy or anyone who has a business.
Now back to mj as others requested...

Well well, this thread went to the POT quick, Pun intended.
I am a Christian and a fairly conservative one at that. What happened in Aleppo would happen in the US if radical muslims are not kept in check.
We as a nation would turn to a bloody war upon our neighborhoods.
What you are seeing is a reaction, although an extreme one, of people being sick and tired of being sheeple. The democratic regime is no longer one I could be proud of. During the blue dog democrat days of fiscal spending, human compassion, yet morally sound... those days are over.
Why did Obama attempt to send more funds to the Palestinians just prior to leaving office? Why was Israel all of a sudden treated like an enemy of this nation? Obama did over reach... Trump is over reacting.
Sad all around. Now, back to your daily dose of POT!
