We did a 9 hole skins game yesterday. Carry over and had to validate. I birdied 5 to knock a guy out of the skins and just missed my validation putt on 6. No one won a skin but was still fun. Shot 4 over on front. Played pretty good. That will change tonight though.

You guys should try to make the scramble on Wed. evenings. I had a blast and go to meet O'Squeal.
Make sure you bring beer. Its a cool set-up with a shotgun type start so no waiting on any groups.

It was great to meet you Hogminer. Was good time. Glad you placed your first time. Need more ranters out there. Course is in pretty good shape to. Greens are nice and squishy.

OSqueel...how do I get to the course from Fayetteville and could I get a tee time before or right at 8 this Saturday?
I want to go play that course.
Also, if anyone is looking for a driver I have an R1 I'll sell you. I bought it and I just like my old R7 better. I'm actually going tonight to swing a few more drivers...

Take 540 north to exit 88. That the one after the exit for 102. Turn right,heading east on 72, stay on this raod until you come to a 4 way stop. White Oak on corner, easymart on right. There is a curve to the right so you don't actually turn at stop sign. Stay on that until you go down the hill and curving coming out of town. Its the first road on the left. Sugar Creek Road. You'll see the Turn, which is the club house. Turn left up the road to cart tent. There is a cart path to take cart down to club house opposite the entry to parking lot. As far as a tee time I couldn't tell you. You'll have to call them to find out. I think they open at 8. Hope that helps.

Looked on their website and it shows a tourney this Saturday...guess its Stonebridge or may e play Valley Boew one last time before it gets hard as a rock.

Actually I think that tourney got cancelled. You might want to call them but I remember one of the owners talking about it Tuesday.

Hmm.. I really wish I could remember the name.. I'm not familiar with the courses in NWA anymore.
What is the latest course to date and I'll see if it jogs my memory? I know Tyson's is a few years old.. It's gotta be a Lindsey course..

O'S, I found my driver. Bought it today. It's going to put the old R7 into retirement. I literally wore myself out this evening at the range. It gave me a chub it felt so good. Nice feel, great sound, and I like the solid black look.
If you know anyone that likes Taylor Made and wants a deal on an R1, send them my way. I have $400 for it and will part with it for $200. I have a certain preference on my grips, so it doesn't have the factory grip. It has the soft Dri Tac grip. Done at Golf USA.

Any of you played courses around McAllester or Muskogee? I'll be in the area the end of the week and was curious what my options may be.
