The one in Cabot is really nice. Greystone I think it's called? I've only been out there once, but I was impressed.

Yeah, it not just that the fairways are narrow, but if you miss the fairways, then you will most likely lose your ball on a good number of holes. If you are a good ball striker and confident off the tee, then you will probably enjoy yourself. Personally, I don't like playing courses where a mediocre/slightly below average drive will result in a lost ball on the majority of holes. I like courses where you are punished for hitting a bad shot but are given the opportunity to make up for the miss with a great recovery shot.

Played all my life. Don't get to play much now since I'm working all the time but I've probably played 20 times this year.

Grew up on Hot Springs CC. The Majestic and the Arlington. Live in Conway now so I play Centennial alot and meet my brother at CCA a lot. I love CCA. Just think it's a good course at a good price.

My favorite course I've ever played is Tannenbaum in Drasco. Most beautiful course I've ever played imo. I just absolutely love. If you've never played you have to go once and ask about #12 before you go.

Never played any NWA courses so I don't know anything about those.

Play in any tournaments? Pretty sure I'm playing in the Pine Bluff 4 ball this year.

Same here. Diamondhead is actually a damn nice course. Frickin' hard to.

Glenwood has gotten a lot better since they went down a few years ago. It used to be awesome then fell off the face of the earth. Now it's back to being awesome again.

I can only comment on what I've been privileged enough to play. Get me into the Alotian and I'm sure my list will change.

1. Alotian...and its not even close

Seriously, how many people get to play there??? Shouldn't even be considered.

Diamanté is just as good as Chenal and PV. But I really like PV.

I would take HSV over the LR course just because of the choices. The old Yankees suck though. Oh and Grenada is the shizz.

I use to work at stonebridge in 01-02 and the old pro use to bring us beer to cart barn all the time. Hole number 5 might be one of the toughest par 4's I have ever played...

You don't have to play a course to know that it is the best. I haven't played Augusta or Pine Valley, but I know they are the top 2 courses in the United States

Plenty of people in Arkansas have played Alotian. They have plenty of local members who are also regulars at the other little rock courses. Chances are, if you are a member at Chenal, Pleasant Valley, or CCLR, then you have ran into plenty of Alotian members.

My ranking of what I've played. That's all it was, ok?!

I forgot I've also played a course in Tunica and one in Branson but can't remember the names of them. The one in Branson was a little too fancy pants for me.

Stonebridge in Fayetteville? I thought hole 5 is a 215 yd par 3? No...ur right...I'm thinking of 7....

I would encourage any serious golfers to get down south and play Mystic. Par 3's are over 200 yds. Hole 1 is a par 5 with two dog legs. First one right, then the second left. Water to the left of the fairway after the second dog leg and about 10 bunkers. Beautiful course and I've played courses all across the south.

I actually think there is enough money behind the course that it will not have any problems staying open. Average golfers, who play a time or two a month and go just to drink, will not go back. They'll not have a lot of fun.

Payne Stewart course in Branson is one of my all time favs. Beautiful course with stories before each hole. Branson Creek is another nice course there. That's where you want to play if you need larger fairways.

Hog Springs, I used to play in a few tourneys, but back around 2007 when I started a business, it took too much time and I didn't play for about a year, got married and moved away from most of my golf buddies.

I've got one former Hog I play with now regularly, but that's about it. I usually play alone early on Saturdays so it doesn't interfere with finishing up my week. I'd love to get back in some tourneys though. I thought about the Salvation Army scramble a couple weeks ago at Stonebridge, but it was on a dang Friday.

Amazing hole, the blind tee is tough, but it is a great one.

I had a chance to play alotian once, was dating a girl that worked for Stephens. Cut that short and about to marry one of her friends. Upgraded to a bunch of duck hunting land, and HSV golfing privileges. And she ain't to bad either....

We should find a scramble coming up and get a team or 2 together. I am in Bella Vista but will drive pretty much anywhere to play.
I grew up in Central Ark. and played mostly at Rebsamen, Greystone, and Burns Park.
