You can only laugh at this point. Toledo would beat Auburn...the worst 4-2 team in the NCAA

I'm with Pigg. I'm going down hard into the land of melt if we lose to Auburn. They are not a good team. At all. Their tackling is worse than OURS for christs sake. Their kicker is solid. There's that? Post bye week at home against that shite team.... If we lose I can't wait for the apologists to come on here listing off their 10000 reasons why that loss was A OKAY and we should be content with it.

I'm always one of the level headed people trying to calm down the chicken littles after a loss, but if we lose this game I'm going full on melt mode.

Auburn is worse than Toledo, that much is clear to me. With their horrid QB situation at Auburn and our DB's propensity to ballhawk shitty passes, they absolutely should not beat us through the air. We can shut down their run game no problem. Our biggest worries in this game, which still aren't huge worries, are all offensive. Their D isn't great by any stretch of the imagination, but our offense has been pretty limited at times even against shitty Ds.

If we don't come away with the W after 2 weeks to prepare, against Bielema's personal super bowl, then this team's problems run deeper than just inadequate personnel. BB wouldn't be fired after the game, or possibly even after the season, but losing would be the beginning of the death-spiral for his coaching career here.

this is exactly why I said I would start the fire bert board. you will see me literally lose it. this is a game we should win. this is the worst auburn team for a while so he better run the score up while he can.

No, we haven't reached the ten year mark yet.

These last few posts, more so then what we may or may not accomplish this season sum up why Bielema and the Hogs really need a win against Auburn. The fans are tired of almost there losses. Bielema needs to put a run together here like he did last season or the pitchforks and torches are going to come out.

Yes, there are some depth issues and injuries to deal with. But the SEC West looks shaky right now and with the possible exception of LSU we should have a good shot to win every game left on the schedule. Its now or never.

Whats with the premelt? Arkansas is better than most teams on the back half of their schedule and will NOT lose to this Auburn team.

Let's not get carried away. We're 2-4 for a reason. We have an 18 year rebuild.

We will dominate the first half but kick 3 field goals and end up with just a 16-7 lead at halftime. Halfway through the third quarter our offense will stall and the turnovers will start to pile up. The game will be decided on the final drive

This is my mindset.

I've melted pretty hard at a few points this season, but I always come back around on about Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm still in Bert's corner, but if we lose this game at home with 2 weeks to prepare in a year in which they're extremely vulnerable, I'll be completely done with Bert, and nothing would bring me back short of our team wrecking shite next year and pulling 10 wins out of their arse.

Honestly, not only can I see us losing this game, but I see it transpiring like too many others in the Bielema era -- us dominating the game only to unceremoniously blow a lead in the fourth quarter. What's worse is that I feel like he'd pretty much lose the entire fan base if he fell to 0-3 against Gus, and things could get ugly in that case given his propensity for social media and press conference theatrics.

This could very well be a/the watershed game for the Bielema era.

Yeah this is a critical point for Bielema here. I think the team will play hard due to 2 weeks off and being prepared. Will that translate to a win? For the sanity of this board, I hope so!!!

I find solace in two things heading into this game:

1. Bert's players always play hard for him. We've not had one game in two years which they've either given up or quit on him. That's promising, especially after all the devastating losses.

2. Last year, we played Alabama coming off our bye, which was after our devastating loss to A&M, and we very nearly beat a very good Bama team out for blood after losing to Ole Miss.

Not sure I'm following you here as we care and voice opinions about a lot of things transpiring in life over which we have no direct control.

Are you saying that it is a prerequisite to melting that the individual has to be in actual control of the situation which causes them to melt?

That's my thoughts. People meltdown over shite they can't control every day. It's human nature. I will melt and I won't GAF how it looks.

That's really the essence of being a fan and being on a sports message board. Few if any of us are going to be hiring a coach or coaching the players but I think how the fans feel and express themselves, good or bad, is important and does have an effect on the program.

Also I wouldn't want to be laughing at Arkansas fans melting if we lose this weekend--not in their faces anyway.

Exactly.

Don't ever laugh at me when I'm legit angry. It makes it worse that I'm female.

ETA: I tend to stay off the internet though after a big loss
