Not sure I'm following you here as we care and voice opinions about a lot of things transpiring in life over which we have no direct control.

Are you saying that it is a prerequisite to melting that the individual has to be in actual control of the situation which causes them to melt?

people are free to melt and worry about anything they wish

I personally actively try to prevent myself from worrying about things beyond my control.

I'm just here for others to bring me entertainment.

part of that entertainment is enjoying seeing fans melt over the uncontrollable. worrying about the uncontrollable is pointless

Well, you can just keep to yourself then. If you get lonely in your own sandbox you always have the option of joining in the fun.

I don't do much internet melting myself but just remember the line in the "I'm a Lucky Man" song where it says, "When my Hogs lost it put me in a bad mood."

FWIW I think it will be a moot point as we'll win but won't cover. That is my prediction at least.

I'm laughing at all of the Auburn posters thinking we can't pass the ball

I'm thinking Dominque Reed needs a few touches this week. He'll wreck their DBs

Auburn isn't comprised of the most intelligent or knowledgeable people for a fanbase.

They also struggle to see the landscape that surrounds them which leads to the delusion like Kheil Frazier and Jeremy Johnson being so good, you have to know nothing of the game if you believe otherwise.

They also though Dyer was the greatest ever when he broke Bo's freshman record at Auburn of 900 yards in a season.

I haven't watched a single Auburn game this season. What should I expect?

Wonder what the rain will do to the AU game plan? If anything...

Good question- we need rain desperately so I won't complain but it sure would be nice for it to stop sat morning and then start back up late afternoon.

Just finished watching the Auburn-KY game to see what their all about. These are obviously just going off of one game but here's what I saw.

AU's defense is all over the place. I'm not sure if this is a failure to learn the system or being so young. When they clicked, they played well. Unfortunately, this was only 25% of the time across the board, but their pass d looked pretty good at times. Tackling basics are pretty bad. Rushing D looks like heaven for Raleigh. He's got a lot of similarities to Boom. I think he and Walker have a breakout game.

I'm afraid they'll throw on us quite a bit. Normally, I'd be worried about that, but it's going to rain. It will make it interesting for sure. I don't think they can handle HH either. Also, BA is a much better scrambler than Towles and can be just as accurate if the game is not on the line.

Again, could just be what they did in one game but I think this stacks up to be a game where we can do exactly what Butterball Bert wants. Tun the damn ball down their throats. TOP dominance. etc.

I agree- that was supposedly their improved team too.

In his Monday noon press conference it didn't take long for Bret Bielema to be asked about any possible "new wrinkles" for the Auburn game after an extra week of practice to prepare for the Tigers.

"Yes," Bielema answered. "It's yes." The head Hog went on to say that the offense has practiced several plays that have not seen the game field so far this season.

maybe i shouldn't be but that makes me

quote:

Defensive coordinator Robb Smith was more specific about the way he used the extra work available during Arkansas' off week.

"With as much three wide receiver and four wide receiver sets as we're going to see from these guys we're going to have a number of defensive backs on the field and we're going to find the right roles for those guys in different spots this week," Smith announced.

that sounds potentially good tho.

Sounds good. It worked for is last year, at home, in the LSU and Ole Miss games.

I don't think it rained during the LSU game? I was there and could've sworn it was just cold as shite.

I hope Bret doesn't get any ideas for a trick play from the Colts game.

I literally still can't figure that one out. I think the guy who took the snap was only supposed to snap the ball if he got a certain look and when he got a different look he got confused whether he should burn a timeout or not. also it was an illegal formation anyways...
