So much truth in that. Just get in with the highest seed possible and see what the pitching can do

A 13-2 finish with Florida, aTm, UK, and MSU still left to play. I don't see it, but I'd love for that outcome.

Which ones? Warren Nolan site is full of full team national stats that are stored on their website. Also the most accessible for up to date RPI, SOS, and ELO.

All stats in OP for players and team come from our athletics website.

One of the stats I found interesting is that no matter how many moan and groan, Arkansas ranks 8th nationally in run differential. Granted, we don’t give up much…but the general idea is to score more than your opponents.

But we also haven't played the best teams yet , right? Tamu an KY will be tough imo

And both series will be on the road. Go say, 5-1 at home against State and Florida and then go 1-2 each against the other two and Arkansas finishes league play 7-4 and 21-9 which will secure a top 8 seed. Which is all you want.

With this team, going 6-6 would be fine. 5-7 would be fine. Just can’t lose a series at home to either of those two teams.

Only problem with all of this is we’d absolutely be the #1 overall seed in this scenario

I love how afraid the SEC is of Hagen Smith. What a damn dawg.

We very well may not get a single game in this weekend. Forecast is for 4-6 inches of rain.

Woof

Was wondering about that. The forecast up here is bad.

What’s the SEC process for a complete series rainout? Just wipe it from the books or try to squeeze one DH on Monday? I’m assuming no since we have a 2 game midweek series with Missouri State starting Tuesday, and Florida has a midweek Tuesday as well.

First game has to have all 9 innings completed. After that, you can do 7 inning games.

There is no rescheduling and the series has to be completed by travel curfew on Sunday. So, I’d guess Florida has likely set their travel curfew for like 5 or 6PM on Sunday. So basically, whatever you get in from Friday first pitch to their Sunday curfew is what you get. If it’s one game, it’s one game. If one game doesn’t complete, then it is what it is.

Which sucks, because we may lose an entire series and maybe a sweep out of this weekend.

Saturday night and Sunday look rough. Friday evening and early afternoon Saturday look iffy but potentially doable.

Here’s hoping they bump up first pitch Friday to very early afternoon if not midday, and can squeeze in a few innings Saturday.

They ever move first Friday game to an early start and have a Friday DH? Or does the visiting team usually arrive day of first game?

Depends on SEC Network I bet. They have Friday nights 7PM game. Saturday's game is on ESPN nationally.
