FWIW on that. Patton didn't seem to indicate that. There was some earlier in his career, but Patton told me he had gotten past that. Just going to be hard to qualify. Part of the reasons for the early character flaws was partly his home life wasn't the best and thus that ties right in with the hole that was dug for him academically. We have to remember not every home has parents who make sure the kids get it in the classroom before they suit up on the field.

Disclaimer: I am in no way in any position to know or comment on any character issues with Akail, and the following statement should not be taken as being applicable to him. Now...
CBB is VERY big on character evaluation, academic evaluation as well as athletic evaluation.
He seems to take 'you recruit your own problems' to heart, as he has quoted it many times.
He also said once that if he saw a potential recruit being disrespectful to his mother, he'd drop recruiting him in a heartbeat. (paraphrased.)

Connor Noland will be announcing his commitment tomorrow. He's visited a ton of schools so it's tough to say where he will go. Arkansas, UCLA, A&M and Notre Dame are all options. He most recently visited Arkansas so hopefully we get him.

This kid is the best baseball spectroscope the state has pumped out since that dude that got drafted in the 2nd round and went to Cleveland. I honestly doubt he plays a down at arkansas. He's a legit top 50 ish type prospect nationally

Not at all. Folks are all over the board with him but I don't think he ends up in Fayetteville.
He's for sure going to to OV's to Bama, Okie State and Arkansas and possibly LSU and Auburn. I think unless something changes, he'll go to either Bama or Okie State.
