I've always liked Kendall. He's always seemed to think highly of our program and DVH in general.

We have pitching depth so DVH doesn't want the hitters to get multiple looks at one pitcher.

It's really pleasing to see our offense show up against legitimate teams. We might actually have a good offense to go with our pitching this year.

Catron and Cole have both been really impressive newcomers. And we haven't even seen Spanberger yet.

It seems Van Horn really wants Jackson to become a starter, especially the way he used him last night for 3 innings.

He wanted the win against Rice and start 1-0 in the tourney so we used our relief ace for multiple innings.
Our best and most experienced arm is coming out of the pen early in the season because DVH doesn't want to dig a hole early in the season like last year when we couldn't throw strikes.

Doug Willey is securing that 7th/8th inning role ahead of Jackson. Been huge for us this weekend.
