Oh I'm not bashing the kids like a certain group of fans...anyways done melting, hope shite works out. I had just returned home from work and saw the latest news so it was my initial reaction

Wow. Half of these mouth breathers sound like a spoiled 16 yr old who got a three year old Benz instead of a brand new Benz like the neighbor kids got. This is a strong class and this staff busted their tails to get more talent on OVs than ever before. This program is on the upswing and more highly rated players will come.
Jones, D White, Fulton, Porter and Cleveland chose their home state school that they grew up watching, but Burt is a fat douche for not convincing them to come here. SMFH.

Good talent and balance in this class but seems to me when you can't pull top 10 classes and rely on building depth you should sign more than just 20.

Bert said it himself. They wanted to sign 12 offense, 12 defense, and 1 coach's decision. That means Bert expects at LEAST 5 people to leave the program.

Are we the only SEC school that had a net loss of signees for today, coming in at -1 ?

True and when asked everyone on this board said 25 was the target. Now we lost some commits and missed on some guys and the spin is that 20 is all roses.

Some people really don't want to believe that we got our asses handed to us today. The spin is ridiculous. 0-3 on the big boys plus a decommitment with NO CONTINGENCY PLANS WHATSOEVER. If we had some 3 star guys to grab last minute for depth like usual when we miss on a big guy then it wouldn't be that bad. But nope. We missed out and were caught with our pants down and now our class if 5 spots smaller than Bret said he would get.
Other than the glaring absences of CB and OL in this class, it's still solid. But the finish was akin to swinging at ball 4 in a full count in the bottom of the 9th with the bases loaded. Nobody expects a grand slam, but they don't expect a chokejob either.

A class should be judged a few years down the line rather than by some recruiting service numbers.Alot of things can happen to the highly rated classes over the years to make that class a dud...

So you guys are saying that coming up FIVE kids short of a full class, or 20%, is not worth discussion? THAT'S your argument? No one is saying the players we signed suck. We're saying there aren't enough of them, per Bert's self-proclaimed goal.
