Not as much excitement as people would like I guess.
It's a top 25 class. I guess having so many 4 star early enrolled takes away the signing day "magic"

Speaking of Petrino failures, I saw on twitter last night that some South Carolina high school coach has banned him from recruiting their school after pulling a kids scholarship offer.

or sets up unrealistic expectations. get some 4 stars early and expect nothing but 4+ from there on out. it's whatever, keep getting decent players for depth, keep improving year over year, and we'll start winning more recruiting battles.

This is so true.
Heck, even listening to the radio this morning, I caught myself for a split second thinking this was a meh class until I snapped out of my idiocy and realized we had an awesome class loaded with 4 stars, including a blue chip quarterback, a baller group of linemen, and far and away the best tight end class in the country.
We're all capable of having teh stupids from time to time.

That magic is like a drug people look forward to each February. When they don't get it they go apeshit and try to take it out on their dealer. Even though in this case their dealer was giving them the good stuff slowly throughout the year.

not being in a ton of last second disputes over signees definitely has its advantages. personally, i'm more excited to hear the north little rock bombshell that is supposedly dropping tomorrow than I am to see our final class.
