what about that tube thing elon musk was talking about. Lets get the first one built between fayettevile and little rock. The university has the money and i'm sure musk would love to prove to everyone once again how much of a genius he is.

Now that's an idea! Travel would be so quick and efficient that we could get rid of that old shitheap of a stadium in Fayetteville and move all the games to glorious War Memorial.

Lewis and Clark never gave up on their journey because they ran out of gas money. Where's the pioneering spirit? Hitch a ride to Fort Smith and grab a canoe. If you leave now and hop on the Arkansas River you can make it here before game time. The trip down is a breeze. All downstream. The trip back, on the other hand, will be a bit of a bitch.

No reason to keep playing there.

We lose $$
Students have to drive 3 hours for a "home game"
The northwest part of the state has interstate highways. Easy access now compared to 30 years ago.
We lose $$
Can't sellout a 53k stadium while a 76k stadium sits empty.

I don't think Fayetteville would sell out Samford either

while they might not sellout - they would have more than 53k

we wouldn't be losing money for our program

Hey bear-o, I ran into your property value the other day at the kickoff luncheon. He looked uncomfortable and distressed, mainly because Jeff Long spent a large portion of the luncheon trying to flush him down the toilet. What did you guys do to piss of Jeff? I would bet there are at least 10,000 reasons but we dont have the time or money to go through all of them.

No but they'd sell more than they have at WMS

Instead of making the drive, you should take the train to fully experience this 1946 tradition of playing in LR.

It's good to hear that you ran into my property value the other day, he's been on a bit of a bender lately and I was a little worried about his safety. Celebrating that Little Rock #1 ranking a little too much. I don't know why he looked uncomfortable. He must have eaten something that didn't agree with him. That's what happens sometimes when you eat fancy food and fancy food has been plentiful in the O'Dactyl home lately. According to Zillow my home value is on a choo choo train straight to the frickING MOON! A choo choo train powered by Wagyu steaks and fine glasses of bourbon.

Jeff is all pissy because he waited to long to jump into tRock real estate. Priced himself out of the market. A very respectable source told me that he hoped that his thinly veiled threats of removing games from War Memorial would temporarily depress the markets enough so that he could afford a nice 3bed/2.5bath over in Hillcrest. Once he closes, expect an announcement detailing the Razorbacks' plans to move 2 SEC and one OOC game to WMS.

Fayetteville had almost 70k for ULL. A night game would have had around 72k, IMO.

The least I could see for Samford in Fayetteville right now would be around 68k at 6pm kick-off.

That has been the average for FCS teams in Fayetteville over the years.

Little Rock all like, "No Bama, No LSU? No care".

Really what it has been is LSU fans buying up tickets in WMS over the years carrying the stadium.

LR fanbase is more concerned with getting drunk enough on the golf course to try and forget they live in LR than stumbling into the stadium for the game.

We refer to it as celebrating the fact that we live in the greatest city on Earth.
