If Bryce is out this week, a loss is almost certain. Jalen is a bad QB right now. Like, couldn’t start at Vandy bad. I like the kid, but it is what it is. Sort of surprised our coaches didn’t get a QB portal insurance policy knowing he was that far off from being ready. And MSU is looking dang good too. If Bryce is out for any extended time we could easily go 0-2 the next couple of games and the season is pretty much over at that point regardless of if Bryce comes back after that or not.

Why have him throw plays in warm ups? Wouldn’t that broadcast to Tennessee that he’s close to ready?

He has orchestrated narratives over the years to keep Bama in the title hunt, and I think he could've pointed to not having his Heisman starter in if Bama had lost.

We could hold him out until after the bye week if necessary. Win the SEC Championship game and we're in.

What makes you think we win those games? We should have lost to a bad A&M team

Nick gonna shake some trees this week looking for folks that really want to wear that red jersey.

We'll see.

I still think he could have played Saturday if he had to. Saban has said more than once it wasn’t serious and that Bryce was day to day… didn’t Bryce given Milroe a big hug at the end of the game? Or maybe after one of the TD’s? It certainly didn’t look like someone struggling through significant shoulder pain.

Could Saban just be spewing coach speak? Sure. But if it’s a mild sprain, like he’s mentioned since the beginning, I expect that Saturday was cautionary or at the very most, an issue with discomfort.

I'm pretty sure on our last drive if Saban felt comfortable playing him, he would have been in there! All we needed was basically 1 first down and game is over....he stuck with JM and that speaks volumes!

Any dude with more than one year of eligibility. Come in an learn from a Bryce for a year and then you get to compete for the starting spot. That doesn’t sound like a terribly hard sales pitch to me. Heck, I’d imagine a few frat boys could throw more accurately than what we saw Saturday. That was painful to watch.

You're right, he isn't playing this week. He's playing this weekend, Saturday to be exact. ;)
