Had Bo not went down Bama would have beaten Clemson. Bo would have been unstoppable in the 4th quarter.

Or if Sark wasn't an idiot and didn't abandon the run with Harris. We had a 1000 yard rusher that got a grand total of 5 carries in the national championship.

Christian Miller doesn't even look like the same player. They've had him on the deer antler spray diet, I see. He looks the part, looking for a big season for him as he steps into the Tim Williams role. I actually think he will fill that role nicely, the bigger question is can Jennings produce at even a somewhat close level to Ryan Anderson?

I just can't get him getting roasted on repeat during A-Day out of my head as I picture FSU going after him again and again. I'd rather break Diggs in slowly if possible.

Florida State will be lucky to even take a shot downfield with that trash O-Line they have.

I'd wager a guess that this memory is from the first half of the Aday game. With that level of vanilla D - no blitz, no presnap movement/checks, no combo coverage - that we played in the first half, the passing game was going to have a field day, and our corners and entire secondary was at a distinct disadvantage.
But since most folks wanna see explosive offensive plays, you need to give it to them - for a half.
We upped our defensive scheme about 20% in the second half and basically shut the Off completely down.
Context is important.

I just went back and watched some of A-day to see some of our offensive sets. Jalen made some really nice, easy, long throws. If he can just do that semi-consistently this year, with his feet and our running game, we are going to score a bunch of points.
Jeudy, Foster and Ridley are going to have a ton of 1 on 1 matchups. If Jalen can just hit them in stride we are going to shite out big plays downfield.

Welcome back, football can take over if we let it.

If the switch flips CM47s head, dude's potential is through the roof. He could be every bit the force that Williams was coming off the edge. I feel like he has shown more of it than Williams had going into 15 so I am optimistic.

Tony Brown was working with the 2's at right corner today in both nickel and dime packages. Not sure if they are just moving players around like they do in practice or if this is a sign that he may not start this year. Hopefully the former.

Just trying people out all over. TB will start and likely at Nickel unless we have a glaring weakness somewhere and need to shuffle.

This.
Ive never had a football game affect me like that one did. I can't explain it but something about it killed some of my enthusiasm for the game.

We left right afterward and went to the bus to take us back to the hotel. Traffic was horrible and it took about 2 hours to go the 4 miles or so to note. Wife and I could've just walked.
Oh - and I was coincidentally staying in the Clemson team hotel so it was not the quietest of places that night either.

Boz, have you any idea if Alex Leatherwood may win out at RT?
