Looks nice but I don't really need a $250 painting to commemorate beating a blah Georgia team in September of a season in which we won the SECCG, Final 4 and NCG.

Already have The Blackout up in my office to stare my UGA grad co-workers in the face each time they walk in

I would have thought if anything, he would have gotten Kenyan Drake's dive at the end of the KO return.

THAT would be an epic Moore painting.

The only people I see buying that are the ones that were actually there. I'm sure that was an incredibly fun game to attend for a Bama fan.

The thing about that game, with the rain and haze, many of the photographs captured from the game are beautiful shots. Artworks in themselves if you will.

Assume you're talking about the NCG.. He's currently working on the Commemorative painting for that game. I imagine it will have to be the KD dive.. Can't really see it being the onside kick.

I was there, and there's nothing about that painting that would make me want to buy it.

If he didn't have the fans wearing ponchos, you wouldn't know it was raining.

I think it will be a compilation of key plays from that game, a la the 2009 BCSNC painting.

I miss when he worked things into his paintings like the score of the game, or how many in a row we've won. And then he would sneak in other people in the background with significance. When did he stop doing that?

But overall, I love his work.

He did, just look.
In the end, after all this time, Jordan Jenkins will be remembered in Alabama football history.
He committed to the "G" and dedicated his career to the "L."

But seriously, the paintings need to stop.
Continuing to purchase the paintings only gives encouragement for more.
Stop, people, stop.

I agree for random regular season games.

I'm totally buying the national championship one this year, though.

I couldn't care less if he commemorates the MTSU game in a painting, its not like I have to buy it.

My son was there and he said it was awesome...he was in the student section (but he advisedly wasn't wearing any Bama gear). He was doin' silent fist pumps up until halftime...he said after that, the stadium started emptying out and he could openly cheer without retribution...

He texted me after Henry's TD run saying, "It got real quiet in here..." After Fitzpatrick's blocked punt/touchdown, he texted "You could hear a pin drop..." And then after EJ's pick 6 it was "Folks are hitting the exits..."
