A source wouldn't hurt either. Not because I don't believe Monty, but because I need something to reference if I bring it up.

Well he almost pulled him, but Sims stepped up after that.

Coker was warming up during the 2nd to last drive before half, after White made like 5 guys miss on that 3rd and 13 and picked up big yards, they stuck with Sims.

Well I was listening to The Game and that is all he said. Didn't give details, just said that "he is no Joe Montana" in a he sucked at practice today kind of way.

ETA: Ryan went to practice today

Interesting.

Saturday should be interesting as well. At least we'll finally have game play to use to compare our QBs. Competition is weak, but there will be other things he's judged on besides stats.

I think the talk about Coker is hyped up bc everyone said that the battle between he and Winston went down to the wire...so folks were/are hoping we would have a qb of similar caliber to Winston taking snaps, and they want to see what Bama could do with someone that talented back there.

I will agree with this part. I'm gona reserve judgment on the McElroy comparison.

I will add McElroy would have been sacked. He held the ball too long for his arm and legs to make up for.

I just want the best QB to play. No one except the coaches can decide who that is. I would like to see Coker in a real game situation though.
